I have just tried the new Cajun Chicken Burgers (fresh, not frozen) from Aldi and with mixed results. For note I cooked them on a 'non-stick' silicon sheet in a Kamado BBQ for most of the cooking time, just ending the cook on the grill for a few minutes on both sides.

The positives -The flavour was nice.

The negatives - As with most four packs of burgers you get two on top of each other, except here they were so pushed together I could not separate easily them and actually had to rebuild one pair. Second they were very dry, remembering the way I cooked them left little chance for any moisture to escape. I assume these are very healthy by containing too little fat. And third, as a result of the second they actually managed to stick to the non-stick sheet ....

I had two this evening, think I will oil the sheet before cooking the next two (which won't counter the dryness though).

A fairly common thing with Aldi and their so called mixed variety boxes. Buy a tub of Neapolitan ice cream and the whole tub can be the same flavour hehe

Lidl Gordal Olives, the big 950g "Sol Mar" brand glass jars.

Really nice as they are and even better cooked.
