Colin Salmon - immediately on the first watch of Tommorrow Never Dies I thought he'd make a good Bond.

Clive Owen - rewatched Croupier the other day and remembered he was talked about as the next Bond when that film originally came out.

Luke Evans. Bonus is that he's Welsh so ticks the important box trying to avoid an English actor playing Bond. Plus he's genuinely good in anything he appears in, does the bad ass thing well and does the suave thing equally well.

It's a shame in a way he played Moriarty in Sherlock. Always think he'd have been an amazing Bond bad guy.
