The £412 [of take home pay] a month deal I was considering a bit up this thread, disappeared and the remaining stock cars increased by £70 a month by the time I was ready, so I sacked it off when they didn't budge on price.

Looked back a few days later and lo and behold the same stock car in Aurora Green (looks black to most people, loved it at the dealers) was available lower than the original price.

I re-spec'ed the supplied courtesy car (if off the road with an approved supplier for more than 24 hours) from a small to a large car, with every thing else being equal and pulled the trigger at £407 a month all in (Happy days which I think is a great deal). Tusker have all details needed from me and are now awaiting the company to ok it, before dealer gets instructed it is mine.

Any idea how long Nissan dealers really take, as they apparently have the car on site & not at the docks? Tusker say 5 to 6 weeks, but I've sold my slightly sick 16 year old Supercharged V8 Jag XF to my garage man, and have their courtesy car until 21st May, and could really do with it by 6th June.
On 16th April, I ordered a Pearl Black 87kWh Advance with Sky Pack on a 1 + 23 month 10k miles per year lease (not sal sac) for £392 a month via Xcite with Arval as the funder. It was one of the many in-stock deals. They quoted 2-4 weeks for delivery.

The car was ready for the dealer to deliver it to me on 13th May, although I have delayed it until 24th May.

BTW, they have confirmed it does not come with mats. The Nissan "luxury" mats can be bought for under £80, or the "Exclusive" mats can be bought for under £250 - both from dealers advertising on eBay.

Thought I'd start a thread to avoid cross talk in the main lease deals one...

I've ordered one (will be my wife's car, replacing a Qashqai). No delivery date yet but we wanted to push it to late May / June anyway as that's when the current car goes back.

Had a better look around one yesterday and interior space is huge which I'm very pleased with due to having young kids with enormous child seats.

There's apparently an issue where the timed climate control can set off the alarm. A mate who works at Nissan tells me there's a fix so I'm hopefully going to check it's been done before delivery.

They don't appear to come with carpet mats, so unless Alphabet supply them (I know some lease companies do) they need to be bought. I'm not keen on the price of the Nissan ones for a 2 year lease!

Unfortunately it's not supported by OVO anytime yet, which means I will probably move electricity supplier when my contact is up. Although the Renault Megane is supported so that may suggest it won't be too hard for them to support the Nissan.

Anyone taken delivery yet?
Sorry if I missed it, but how much down and how much per month?

Something like £340 on a 1+23. Can't remember exactly.

Quite a few people signed up from the "best lease deals" thread. I'd imagine they're all gone now.

We have now scheduled delivery for 29th May, with collection of the old car the same day.

Anyone recommend any carpet mats?

I purchased normal rubber mats for mine. The posh mats are great to look at and feel but I would want to have to clean them when they're muddy and dirty. I went for something practical and easy to maintain. I have had the car for 2 week. Just did a 220 mile trip to Brighton and had about 60 miles left. I was doing 70 to 75 on motorway.

I'm on Octopus Go too. It's a little frustrating only being able to add about 25 miles per night (11% on my car), but at a cost of under 80p, I'll survive smile . I have charged up during the day too (6 hrs) because I needed more charge for a longer journey but try not to.
That seems low. Even plugged into a standard 13A socket you can dump 12kw/h into a car in four hours and I'm surprised that a) you can only drive 25 miles on that much and b) it represents 11% of your battery capacity. Has your car really got a 108kWh battery?

Not doubting your figures, just surprised. Maybe I'm misunderstanding, it wouldn't be the first time.

My leaf granny charger only put out about 2.2/hour.

How are people getting on with these?

Ours is coming on Wednesday.

I ended up ordering a set of mats from Amazon for about £20, which seems ok quality wise.

Will be stuck charging at 20p/kWh for the first month or so due to OVO still not supporting Nissan and being locked in to a fixed deal.

Will probably switch to Intelligent Octopus Go after that as you get a good cheap rate every night and both cars (I have a Cupra PHEV) should be supported for the odd "intelligent" charge.

Our 87kWh Advance Pearl Black with Sky Pack example arrived on Friday. It was driven to us in Cornwall from Oxford.

I ordered it to replace our electric Kona. It is rather large and feels it, but handles well enough, the ride is good and it is quiet. The efficiency is OK, running at about 3-3.5 miles per kWh (the Kona averaged 4.5). The interior is a nice place to be and very airy, especially with the sky pack, but there is very little storage. The centre console could have been great for storage, but isn't. The tech seems OK, but the Nissan Connect app is pretty poor compared to the Hyundai Bluelink app. Both are dire compared to the Tesla app. Apparently after 12 months you have to pay for Nissan Connect, which I'm not sure I'll bother with. Android Auto works well, but you need to plug it in - Apple Car play is wireless.

The main surprise, is that there is no way to set a charge limit. Bearing in mind you are not supposed to charge a lithium ion battery to more than 80% on a daily basis, this is plain stupid. You can set a charge timer, but then you have to calculate how many kWh are required to get it back to 80%, and then adjust the timer to ensure it stops by 80% based on whatever rate your charger outputs (7kW for most people). Reading one of the Facebook groups, not surprisingly most people can't be bothered to do this and just plug it in and charge to 100% or whatever level it gets to in the cheap rate period. We're on Intelligent Octopus, so pay 7.5p/kWh from 11:30 - 05:30. The car charged last night to 92% and is showing 271 miles of range. The Aryia is not supported by Octopus Intelligent at present, so unless you have a compatible charger, you won't be able to benefit beyond the normal 6 hours overnight.

In summary, if you've never had an electric car, you will most probably be delighted. For an RRP of £50k it is at best described as an average EV in pretty much every way, but for under £400 a month on lease, it is very good value.

Incidentally, I ordered a boot liner and mat set on Amazon too, all in for about £70.

Sounds good!

Ours is the exact same spec by the sounds of it.

It'll be my wife's car and first EV (although I do have a PHEV) so hopefully she likes it!

It's also my wife's car (I am on my second Tesla) and I would bet your wife loves it, once she gets used to it.

Mine would now much prefer an EV, hence it being her second.

Enjoy!

My wife has had one for just over a month the now on one of these £330 deposit and £330 a month lease deals and she really likes it especially as a first footing into the whole EV world.
We are seeing very similar consumption figures and for me it’s just a first EV but so glad I haven’t banged 50k into this, I find the touch screen just slow and clunky to use and the wireless apple CarPlay can be described as flaky at best to the point that it now no longer wants to pick my phone up let alone connect to it ( connected to a few other EV,s I have tested recently with no issues ).

As it’s not my daily driver I am not to fussed with these issues as it pairs no issues with the wife’s phone for the 6 mile trip to work, but for me it’s a nope.

Sorry, I haven't visited this thread for a while.

Yes,13A is the max rating of a socket but for safety's sake it's actually marked on the charging lead box that it will draw 10A max. My app shows I'm being billed at about 20p per hour (2.1 kW) but there are losses so about about 1.9 kW makes it into the car. That's 7.6 kW over 4 hrs, and I'm averaging 3.5 m / kWh at the moment so actually 26.6 miles per night. smile

Care to share a link? I haven't seen them as low as 330. Assuming it is the 87Kwh advanced one with the Sky pack.

Had it for just over a month. Did about 800km. Between 3 and 3.4 miles/kwh, up to 290 miles range atm. Eco drive. not fussed with e-pedal. Gone for Octopus approved charger and I charge the car to 100%. You can set it to 80 but (a) that car is going back in 2 years (b) I only charge it once a week on average so the impact is likely to be minimal. This is my first EV and there's plenty of things I dislike about it (wired Android, lack of space, can't remember last driving setting) but bearing in mind that I paid 340 per month, it was and still is a great bargain.

It is the advance trim level with sky pack 87kwh, pretty sure it was xcite leasing and was found through the lease deal section on here.

Does anyone know if you can get this 11:30pm to 05:30am Octopus Intelligent tariff with just the granny charger?

I've a feeling I could probably live with 26 mile a night topup, as there are plenty of 150kWh rapid chargers fairly nearby, some with dynamic pricing as low as 8p a kWh (although I'll take that with a pinch of salt).

Delivered this morning and all happy so far...

Rear seat space is excellent for massive child seats. Our rotating one (which is incredibly bulky) made front seat passenger space a bit tight in the previous Qashqai. In the Ariya the front seat can be all the way back and there's still a fair sized gap!

Boot could be a bit bigger but is fine.

Pano roof is nice too.

Would like a bit more "creep" like a traditional auto and cannot fathom why the parking brake doesn't come on automatically!

The "kick" boot opening is the favourite gimmick so far!

Your car has to be compatible and the Ariya isn't. For it to work you need at least one of the components (car or charger) to be IOG compliant. I went for a charger recommended (and installed) by Octopus. Given that I see EV as the way forward, I think it is an investment worth doing. Octopus take over your charger and deals with the setting. As long as your car is connected you can have charging anytime at 7.5p - that's the default for your car and household - unless you choose to boost it.
