Exactly that.As I said earlier in the thread, he should have received the same sanction as his manager Pat Mooney i.e. a lifetime ban from snooker.
They both got set-up, and he didn't know even about the meeting etc in advance. He got the fine and 6 month ban for his part in the whole thing, but didn't actually fix/throw a match. Mooney could have taken him down with him, but thankfully didn't.
But obviosly the armchair experts know better than the authorities.

I'd hazard a wild guess that the people against him are maybe not Scottish. Funny that.
I'll always support Scots in sports, be it individuals or our national teams however poor they are, as I'm sure all nationalities do. Therefore my starting point with Higgins is as a fan, but that doesn't mean I'm totally blinkered, and I'd feel the same about the Higgins situation if it was his fellow class of '92 rivals O'Sullivan or Williams for example.
For reference, Hendry was my sporting hero growing up.

Those supporting John Higgins are not sport fans. How he was allowed to play the game again is unbelievable. Cheating f@K.

And why didn't Jones get the ref to put the white back behind the pink after that amazing snooker and put Bingham in again after Bingham ended up hitting the black?
Because he needed snookers. You can't keep putting your opponent back in if you need snookers. You need to create a whole new snookerGassing Station | Sports | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
