I prefer the existing 9400 model - those new ones seem to just be a re-cased G-squad. The old one was more distinctive I think. The new Mudman is similar in that it’s a re-cased Pro Trek. It makes sense from a cost perspective I suppose but they lose their individual styles.

I just sold this Rangeman…

And replaced it with the new Mudmaster. Impressed so far - loads of functions, very comfortable and not quite as large the older versions.

How did you find the Hodinkee shopping experience?
Very easy, I just placed my order online & it was delivered around 10 days later.

Have registered with G-Shock for the new Rangemaster, they emailed me about it yesterday, I like the look and the functionality, can't find any details on prices so far although one article I have seen indicates $500 in the U.S

I like the look of the yellow version but will no doubt end up going for black as it will be a daily work watch

For £41.50 it would have been a mistake not to buy

Treated my GM-2100B 3AER to a new strap

Black this time as a change from the standard green one.

Butterfly buckle will take some getting used to but it feels more comfortable.

Quite impressed for £35 and it came with a spare set of spring bars and a spring bar tool.

I've got the same setup on my green one. Lovely straps, I've run them on all my 2100s.

Picked this up in HK last month. Meant to be a JDM model.

Can't really see it but it's yellow gold finish.

Does the strap fit without any adaptors?

Where did you get it from?

TIA

They are a straight fit to the 2100 range.

a few vendors on AliX have them.

Got mine from Amazon Chris

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Compatible-Fluororubber-M...

A day on the wrist now ands very pleased with it. Very soft and comfortable and the butterfly clasp is very easy.

Unlike the original strap its also tapered so looks a bit more streamlined.

Thanks.

I actually really like the strap on the metal GA2100, but I have a white GMA, and find that really uncomfortable… it’s also a little short for me.

I’m trying to find a replacement for that… so hoping the manufacturer of the GA also does them for a GMA!

Had to wait three months for my mate to come over from Japan with this. Well worth the wait and out of my 30ish G-Shocks this is easily top 3!
