I was 16 at the time and it all seemed so exciting, reading it today and reading the lists of the casualties made me genuinely emotional

May they never be forgotten, and I for one will be forever grateful that men are prepared to put themselves in such harms way for people they don’t know and to right a wrong

RIP to those who gave their all
