The OH has been trying for Leeds tickets all morning. Not a sausage. I just went on... 257k in front of me in the queue!
It's a stupid system. They'd be better off having a window of, say, a month, for people to register to buy tickets, then close the window and randomly select the relevant quantity of people for the capacity of the venue to buy them.

I used Ticketmaster on pc, I had an account already, I joined the ticketmaster queue at about 945 or so this morning and had two tickets by 1005. Just clicked quantity of 2, picked most expensive non-vip tickets at 75 each, was given ten minutes to check out and job done. I didn’t stop to pick seats, just straight to checkout.
No idea how that happened. I’m guessing it’s because we only wanted two seats. Honestly didn’t expect to be offered anything.
Tried again ten minutes later to see what would happen - 320,000 in the queue.

Our tickets were 75 each, similar are now on viagogo at 670. Ridiculous.

I have and am - currently got 2 tickets for the 1/12/23 Manchester show I am also in the queue for Newcastle tickets as that would be my preferred venue, joined the queue as it opened and was 58,263rd ... went to Costco and then the garden centre and left it doing its thing ... now I'm 32,553 - unlikely I will get Newcastle tickets I think.
Even if I did get the Newcastle tickets I would be selling the Manchester ones via Twicket to keep the fairness (as they resell at face value only)

I was halfway into town when she called to tell me she had managed to get me 2 tickets for the O2. £75 each with all the various fees and part of a new tranche of dates so not till April 2024 (Two Christmases away!) - but I can live with that.He must have made millions this morning.
