How disappointing. A blue halo, wheel hubs, front wing and a stripe.

ETA, managed to grab a screenshot

The free ink they got from HP quickly ran out and they couldn't afford new ones.

They just spent all their money on Adrian Newey.

That or they are out of Cyan print cartridges laugh

Or the same thing happened as we had where HP sent out a bunch of faulty cartridges which literally fked our printer up, and then admitted they were faulty but refused to do anything about the printer. s rage

Sorry, O/T rant over.

Shame, was very much hoping for completely blue cars frown

Somewhat.

But if they just spent their reported $90m from HP on Adrian Newey, then all is forgiven.

They missed a trick by not releasing an all-white livery for Miami.

They should have played on the Miami Vice look.

They could have had Leclerc and Sainz Jr dressed up in Crockett and Tubbs 80s suit jackets biggrin

Or all black, which turns out to be a Corvette underneath.

All that hype and this weak effort is revealed. All the history aspects thrown around with past racing in America, when really it’s just a move for their new sponsor. Understandable given the reported numbers involved (66% of the annual cost cap budget), however you don’t want to mess with tradition too much just for some PR stunt.

Money is good, shame the sponsor logo/colours don’t sit very well with the usual design.

Also sick of ever changing driver helmets… remember when they had an identity. Other than different sponsors, their identity didn’t change. (Personal favourite.. Jean Alesi)

I agree about the helmets - but in reality you cannot see them now, at least during the race. So, I don't really care.

Would be cool have the halos match each driver's helmet design and colours.

That's such an obvious thing to do, I'm amazed they passed up the opportunity.

Agree. Massively disappointing.

Supersam83's suggestion of being in all white would have looked brilliant.

Something Liberty should be pushing. The teams will want their cars to look identical, but Liberty should see the benefit of stamping the driver's 'brand' on the car.

Didn't expect much more than that, no way Ferrari or F1 are going to a place like Miami without a bright red car.

Remember Ferrari still go back the PMI(Philip Morris) for issues re branding and sponsorship contacts. The design of logo placement is NOT a Ferrari decision.

Apparently Adrian Newey said "The day I sign for Ferrari is the day they paint the car blue"
Fred "Hold my beer"
Paint shop "Checking"
