Spot on that. Exactly the same, but the difference is Mag is getting penalties for it.
I think there was an element of facetiousness in it, but it was still amusing.
Casting mind back to Brazil 2021 "through the favelas" no penalty debacle rolleyes

How the hell did hamilton not get at least a drive through penalty for taking 3 cars out at the first corner?! I've seen almost universal agreement on most global F1 fora (but don't expect the same here lol). Good to see KMag handing out some vigilante justice though rofl
Have another look, the Astons hit each other and then hit Hamilton whilst trying to avoid each other

That’s not the way Tim wants to see or interpret though….

MV and LH in Brazil was a single incident of v aggressive fight between 2 drivers, and in my personal view over the line by MV to take LH to buy ice cream in the stands. However, give both drivers the benefit of the doubt, because we pay to watch hard racing. So I kinda accepted the stewards decision not to punish MV as the too late braking could not be proven as deliberate.

KMag can easily be distinguished. Yesterday was several incidents (4 penalties in 19 laps) which KMag admitted was a deliberate pattern of driving like a dick (ie consciously in breach of driving standards) to gain an advantage for his team. We dont know whether Haas instucted him, encouraged or acquiesced to that behaviour during the race, but we do know HaasF1 X social media praised KMag. There is no benefit of doubt in this situation, as KMag's own case to the stewards was his collection of penalties was 100% deliberate with the stated intention of impeding other competitors.

Common parlance calls that cheating. F1, sold worldwide as the pinnacle of motor racing. Haas F1....shame on you and shame on the stewards for lack of backbone to call it.

I remember Senna being unfairly treated by stewards on many occasions

As for Kmag i suspect driving like that would have resulted in a black flag in many other racing series

I remember Senna taking Brundle out more than once in the F3 series they contested together prior to joining F1 and I distinctly remember him openly admitting he deliberately taken Prost out to win the title.

KMag should watch the 11 laps of Budapest 2021 where Alonso helped Ocon win by holding off Hamilton (no penalties) fighting like a lion against a faster car on fresh rubber. That is what F1 fans want to see, not the KMag st show.

I thought most people thought it was the crap TV direction that made it look like Hamilton...........................until they showed a more realistic view

The fairground atmosphere of the whole event is just trashy. How many “personalities” will poor Brundle chase on the pit walk?
Donald Trump and Taylor Swift will be there-bonus points to Martin for a 10 sec encounter.

I think there is some kind of race also -that’s the rumour ( or rumor) anyway (or anyways).

Yeehaw!

Check the onboards, not Lewis's fault. Although I would say that he got a great start and was probably going into T1 a little too quickly for cold tyres so his ability to react was perhaps reduced.. although of course we wouldn't criticise that of there hadn't been a collision, we'd just sat he got a very good start!

Anyway, it's lap one coming together, happens to all drivers often enough regardless of fault.

It did look a little amateur hour, certainly not a mistake we see often from him. I would like to see a few more replays but from what I saw he just went for a gap that closed and could not stop in time as a result.... I do wonder if these tyres just don't get into the correct operating window easily which would explain why he didn't stop in time and the qualifying where some cars seemed to perform incredibly and awfully within the same session...

You can tie yourself in knots trying to figure out fault Vs circumstance in multiple car lap one incidents... Unless someone very obviously did something stupid I tend to just ignore it - as do the stewards.

The cars are probably too wide for this and a fair few other circuits - blame that! Luckily 2026 onwards they'll be 100mm narrower, so that's a foot of extra space when three cars are side by side.

Exactly.
Stroll moved across, hit alonso, took out Norris, alonso had nowhere to go because lewis was in the gap.
Was quite obvious from the onboards..

Sky showed an overhead shot of the Aston turning into Hamilton

I've just seen some prices of the food there. It's unreasonably priced to say the least! I don't know how they can do it with a straight face. $170 for a tuna poke bowl for example!

Don't forget the "discretionary" tip too.

I saw those food prices, that has to be in an exclusive area as opposed to being the norm?
