A Saxo to a Lambo, that is quite some journey and some great cars in between.
Thank you very much!

When I had the Saxo, I really did dream of owning a manual Murcielago. It was all I ever talked about lol

Murcielago is going in for its annual service and to have the new brakes fitted...

I was going to do it myself, but the team at Furlonger Cars offered to do them while it was in, so I said yes.

Was nice to get the car out and use it for the run to work which is in the same town as Furlonger and took the obligatory photo from the window

Small update for the Range Rover

New headlight bulb time - I was noticing the dip beam light was getting duller and duller to the point that without the fog lights it was like driving with a candle

I have put in some lovely LED xenon replacements - WOW - What a transformation. It didn't help that the old bulbs had clouded up and I expect are the originals

I also put some new H7 in the main beam and they are back to their full glory

I didnt get any before photos but can take some after pics if anyone is interested

Nice little thread, enjoyable read smile

That’s not good re the range on the polestar though. Almost like my iPhone which in the last couple of months has decided to decimate its battery life

Thanks for the lovely comments all

Took the Murci out last weekend - Really would have been better off with a boat - It was an open day at VVS

Quite a few people took some great photos, this being one of my favourites

We’re both the l322’s of the 4.4v8 variety or have you tried the 3.6?

I quite fancy owning one.

Both have been the 4.4TDv8

The first one when I got it only had 28k on the clock IIRC - It was very low
I sold it at 70k

Only had two faults in that time, an oil leak that was fixed for £5 and I had to replace the radar cruise sensor, £140 for a used one

This one, was on 92k when I got it, Its 112k now - Air suspension pump failed it but was a cheap one that was in the car - Drivers seat heater doesn't work, I keep meaning to get the bit out and repaired but forget - That's been it, other than general servicing so far

Had the Murci out today for a trip to Brooklands for their AutoItalia Day. The weather held out for everyone which was fantastic

7 Murcis out today, including 4 early manuals smile

I was parked next to this old snooter to start with - The car of the show for me, owner has owned it for 30 years, the Ferrari 275 GTS to me is the best looking car they have ever made - It was spectacular, and the owner was fantastic too!!

Interesting thread. I've just caught up on all of it. At first I had skim read the title as 'Electric' and for that reason never opened it thinking it wasn'tof interest smile

OP. Great eclectic mix of cars.

A couple of days ago, whilst in the gym, I fell down a bit of a YouTube rabbit hole. At some point I came across a video of a guy who swapped his (V12??) Aston with a Murcielago for a test drive; it took a couple of seconds before I noticed the registration. Am I correct in saying it's yours? I'm pretty certain it is! It's a glorious looking and sounding vehicle

Unfortunately I have no idea who the Vlogger was, therefore I can't find & watch it again.
