Water pressure reduction valve adjustment?
Discussion
I read that my prv should be set at 3.1-3.8 bar. How do I set the prv below?
Is it as simple as turning the knob? I read you need to turn off the water and release pressure before adjusting? Is that right? Also there may be a locknut but I can’t see one? Finally is there a filter chamber that needs flushing, if so how? Many thanks.

In the absense of any other replies - you could take a look here and see if there is a manual for your valve.

I have a very similar reducer valve thing and my water pressure is 2.2 bar.
Apparently due to leaks Thames Water reduced the water pressure through the village and we are now enduring 10 weeks of roadworks.
I tried adjusting to increase my water pressure so that I could get a decent blast from my garden hosepipe. It was very difficult to turn and didn't feel as if it was doing anything while being turned and afterwards I couldn't notice any difference. I don't think it could even reduce pressure.
I have since measured the flow rate in litres per minute at all my taps so I can determine any future change and depending on the tap the best flow rate is 24L per minute and the lowest (crap tap) 3.5L per minute.

Close the cupboard door and just walk away.
Your incoming pressure is less than the PRV setting, so even if you can adjust the PRV it'll change nothing.
Even if it weren't, 3bar is fine. That's why it comes from the factory like that.
There is a strainer, but unless you suspect that there's extensive debris from mains water works in it and a corresponding drop in flow it'll be fine.
It's bank holiday weekend and you have nothing to gain from disassembling the PRV.
Sod's law says it won't go well.
Just walk away.
