Security camera - non wifi

My mother has been broken into twice in the past 6 weeks so trying to beef up her security a bit.
She has no wifi at her house and even 4G is a struggle.
Are there any decent security cameras (external & internal) that can be setup & run without needing connected to wifi, maybe just record footage to an SD card? Either mains or battery powered.

Most normal network video recorders will work as most have a built in drive to store the footage for several days.

Just run PoE ethernet to the camera(s) and power up the PVR and connect a keyboard and monitor.

Only drawback is without any form of internet you’ll have to log on to the pve with the keyboard / monitor to review whats been recorded and wont be able to check it remotely when you’re away from home.

Loads of systems will work without wifi or 4G - just ethernet cables connecting the cameras down to a box. If you can't get power to the camera then you can use Power over Ethernet (PoE) cameras.
