Fury appeared to rely on holding Usyk off with his left arm. Not boxing, just holding him off. Surprised he didn’t use his size to wear the smaller man down like he has in the past, leaning all over the other guy.

Definitely the right decision, but Fury could have done more.

Usyk looked like a fighter, Fury looked a bit like a clown at times.

Boxing is about being the aggressor and Usyk controlled most of the fight and very nearly knocked Fury out. It was Usyks second hardest fight that.... Not the worst!

What the hell was the referee playing at in the ninth?
He should have either let Usyk finish Fury or stop the fight! Instead he saved Fury and gave some weird count. Should have been over right there.

The silly antics were amateurish and plain stupid against someone like Usyk.

It was odd, i've never seen that before.

When referee saves the fighter it's waved off.

Looking back it was a strange situation.

I assumed no standing 8 count so the ref should either stop fight or wait for knockdown

Lol. Even the commentators / and online hacks - most of which can't stand Fury are saying how close it was and how it wasn't 'clear'.

Did Tyson not go to drop to a knee (or did indeed) prompting the ref to step in?

Good fight. Didn't feel like I was watching a heavyweight fight. Appeared close and I thought it was going to be declared a draw (I was watching in a busy bar though). All watching seemed to think it was the right result when called.

Literally all of the commentators and the audience scorecard had a Usyk win. It was decisive and convincing. The right man definitely won I would say by at least the rounds plus a knockdown. If Fury was south American and the flight was in Brazil it might have been close.

Agreed. Commentators spoke about this too after the fight. Similar to one of his wilder fights, given a cup of tea and crumpets to make sure he’s ok and just restart when he feels like.
