He has his detractors and sometimes I’m one of them but that was a hell of a pole lap from Max, just like in the 2019/20 season when it was Lewis dominating, their skill gets forgotten then they go and do a lap like that!

Never raced, but has tested at the circuit. I was surprised to hear Hulk had never turned a wheel here before yesterday though.

I think the strange issue is Mag's behaviour last race........ No Grid Drop..... But all the penalties in the world. I know the issues are different but it is a bitter pill to swallow (and I am not a McLaren fan)

Max went from struggling to setting fastest time after fastest time, top work by RB to work out what was wrong so quickly.

Seb Vettel was driving that, and also has done a lot of Senna tributes over the weekend.
I really hope Sky show him driving that around the track, that would be amazing.

Does anyone know if this is part of his collection? I must check to see if he'll be at the Festival of Speed this year, as last year it was great to see him in the Mansell car.

Does seem rather harsh, given it’s mostly a team rather than driver error, but it’s the standard penalty for the offence in qualifying.

It seemed a slam dunk from the video. Mind you, many penalties seem to be nothing wrong and yet drops are the result.

Shame. On the plus side, for a McL supporter, the second place McL is kicked off, and another McL replaces it. Good times.

Hopefully Norris gets a good enough start to get his elbows out into Variante Alta. The donkey jockeys need to come to an understanding so they don't trip each other up.
