I was on about the green car using last years pictures,,
The blue car at Leeds is back up for sale with them, it was sold in February but returned as someone has said, not sure what the issue was with it but I was told sorted in a day so can’t of been much

Ok no worries. I never said anything about a green car. you said the car i posted was sold so wondered if you knew they were falsely advertising cars which are not actually for sale!I was on about the green car using last years pictures,,

re: 'sorted in a day'. of course it was was minor. if it wasn't, do you think they'd advertise that? Regardless, hope someone gets many happy miles with it!!!

Quite a few of the franchise dealers seem to do it tbh, it seems crazy to increase the price if it hasn’t sold but I suppose when there’s lesser cars coming on for more it could create an opportunity to increase the price for them,,
Just noticed the green car come on at Hills , this sold last year with 13K miles on it, they’re still using last years pictures by the look, never did like the look of the front discs even then

As funding costs keep going up and underwriting keeps getting stricter, I'm not sure where the dealers think the magic money pots will come from to justify their "seasonal increases". The era of free money is over and price elasticity is back. of course there's always going to be rare occasions where the car with the perfect spec comes onto the market and gets snapped up immediately and the dealer can name any price, but if your car has been on the market for over 6 months without selling then that's clearly not the case
But they dont, mortgage rates have come down, finance rates have come down and further interest rate cuts ahead (at some point). The spring/summer increases have been always been there, a lot to do with supply and demand price rise. I have had my car for sale for a while, there was over 30 mid winter, now only 17.
If they do drop interest rates next week which is unlikely i know, i think there will be a real uplift/boom, if the dont buy now, they wont be buying at all or the season is missed.

Did you buy a 720S? I’m not on here for months at a time so must of missed it ..The spring/summer increases have been always been there, a lot to do with supply and demand price rise. I have had my car for sale for a while, there was over 30 mid winter, now only 17.

That car sold in Feb and was returned apparently, when I called to get a video it was “having some work done” so I assume they have had to spend a bit fixing it and now want to recover some of those costs.
I received a video of the blue car at Leeds a couple of weeks ago and went through to a more local dealer to see their sample of the paint colour. It looked a lovely car in the video but the colour itself wasn't quite right for me.renmure said:

No I’ve not seen the car in person but that colour is so much better than so many of the colours that are availableHIS LM said:
I'd like to buy privately\direct as some of the dealer markup is getting silly, especially when need to take car for an inspection before buying anyway.
Minimum dealer mark up is £10k and in some cases £20k so happy to pay somewhere in between surely a win win ?
I think you’ll be lucky to pull that off tbh, not impossible but extremely lucky,,,Minimum dealer mark up is £10k and in some cases £20k so happy to pay somewhere in between surely a win win ?

agree with this in most cases but these 600's are very liquid right now unlike many other cars, I hinted towards selling mine and had 3 bids all around about what my local Mclaren dealer would advertise for.Minimum dealer mark up is £10k and in some cases £20k so happy to pay somewhere in between surely a win win ?
