It's quite different to what we're used to seeing Jack and Ethan doing, but looks very promising for the future of the channel. I can see it becoming more popular than TDC in the future...

Watched it last night, did not think it was that great if I am honest.

Also not pulled in big views as yet

I'll managed 10 mins or so of TDC and All the gears latest videos.
Just generic and boring.
Shame as the guys seem pleasant enough, they're just missing something.

I might give it a watch, but 65k views in 16 hours is pretty slow going given the fanfare and expense of that trip. Suspect they will quickly find out that the AutoAlex viewers they were hoping to tap into prefer sheddy old cars and arse slapping banter.

I enjoyed it, but think it was a bit short on content for what it was. Like said before, missing something. An extra person maybe?

I would have expected more than one episode, it was almost like they struggled for stuff to film or do.

Edit, just noticed there are more than one episodes…

Totally agree, I watch them but more out of habit than anything. Have to say I am not a massive fan of Will either.

I do wonder if Alex has spread himself a bit thin now and is just producing content almost for the sake of it?

The peak as far as I am concerned was when Ethan, Jack and Alex did the NC500 on Car Throttle. Those videos were the sole reason for me doing the same trip myself and visiting all the places they went to.

Though to be fair I am getting a bit bored of all the car channels on YouTube now.

Standing out on YouTube is hard these days compared to 5 years ago. Expectations are high and also the types of content (cheap car challenges, road trips etc) are pretty played out.

You also need a new car every 10 episodes, which gets pretty tricky and expensive. It’s why YouTubers quickly amass a fleet of cars and get cars you wouldn’t normally touch with a barge pole.

I quite enjoyed the Iceland video.

Decent scenery, filmed well. I can see that others might not prefer them playing it relatively sensibly and miss the 'epic bantz' style of the previous channel.

I'm sure lots of channels would be happy to get 68k views on a video.

With the views they were getting on CT, 68k is really low

Just checked 72k views in 19 hours, Alex will be wanting more views than that also is it really the best idea to have a road trip video sponsored by a beer company.

Could you explain what you mean by the "epic bantz style"? Do you mean young lads having a laugh together?

I wasn't blown away by ATG and the views are showing the same if i am honest.

TDC is ok but Will does seem the odd one on it a bit like a fish out of water, doesnt seem to have purpose

I enjoyed the ATG video, the TDC stuff shows how played out the 2 guys doing up a stbox and doing various things to it is. They needed to do something different. Whether that will cross over to the majority of the AutoAlex audience is another matter.

I must admit I was slightly disappointed that the latest TDC video was another one on the Porsche, but it's still bringing in big numbers.

Surprised the ATG video isn't doing better, I personally really enjoyed it, but I guess there isn't much crossover of automotive and travel type content. Might take a lot longer to grow an audience on ATG for that reason. Maybe some of their other projects will be closer aligned to automotive stuff.

I enjoyed the All the Gear Iceland episode. I quite like Jack and Ethan together, and it made a nice change from the usual AA squealing.

Figures wise TDC is doing a fair bit better than Auto Alex these days.

1. TDC
2. AutoAlex
3. AutoAlex V2
4. ATG
