I’d rather be anally violated by a donkey than go to FOTU
I’d rather go to FOTU than something like the London concourse. It’s far more interesting.

Indeed.

But it pretty much boils down to which you feel more comfortable taking to:

Privileged tts in red trousers braying about their latest Ferrari purchase, or

Adenoidal blokes with hygiene issues boring you to death with intricacies of the Montego drivetrain over its production life

biggrin

I feel the same about the London Concours. Give me the Bicester Scramble like yesterday any day of the week. Absolutely brilliant, huge mix of cars and zero pretence.

I quite enjoy the London Concours - nowhere near as many braying knobs as you would expect, interesting themes and if you go after 4pm it’s £25 including a massive G&T.

Whilst I enjoyed Bicester on Sunday, there were some parts where it had evolved into a Stuttgart circle jerk.

That's pretty much every big car meet these days rofl Good thing about Bicester is that there's so much to see you can happily avoid all the Pork and still not see everything else.

Note for podcast Patreonists. The new £2.49 price has started, they've had to add it as a new tier above the old £1 tier, as changing the tier price can't be done in the system (it's to stop people getting £1 subs that evil Patreonists could change to a million pounds and not say anything). So to get the show notes etc, update from Spowahtaaaaaah to Eagle Quest.

Oddly I have always paid £5 a month but didn’t get access to OTOSOT until I dropped down to £4.99. Ah well.

I noticed this the other day when I couldn't access the show notes and photos. I'm a but pissed off about a 150% price increase with no notice, but not sure if I am overreacting laugh I've cancelled in the meantime while I decide.

I didn’t.

It’s worked out well for me though as I was paying £5 a month and it’s gone down by half.

They also mentioned the impending price rise on at least one podcast, I think actually two.

Is there a way to link the ad-free/early patreon release to Spotify?

Dunno, but if you have Amazon Music, the podcasts are ad free there as well.

I was absolutely dying at the first 10 minutes of the “The Muppet Show” my other half thought it was a completely different podcast I was listening too.
