Quite a lot of bks spouted by the panel, Flynn was the lead offender but certainly not the only one. Iain Dale didn't say much but what he did say was to the point, particularly about the North Sea.

Flynn was even more of an odious prick than he usually is in Westminster, somewhat ironic IMHO that the only one that seemed to be on point as you say is English

He's not been an MP long, but he's a quick learner in the bullst department.

It’s worse than bullst! Even with Dale repeatedly telling Flynn that what he was saying was completely wrong and blatantly untrue Flyn continued to spout forth lies. Odious prick does not come close to describing that weasel.

OTOH Salmond sounded quite reasonable even though he is an odious prick. I get the impression that he knows independence is shot but he, too, will keep the ‘nationalists’ sweet by pressing (but not too hard) for independence in the hope of picking up SNP votes of the disaffected but if he ever became FM again he might just run Scotland significantly better than the SNP cretins have for the past 10 years.

The best bit yesterday was Pierse Morgan and Nigel Farage hurling insults at each other.

The Tory guy? Their talent puddle just evaporated a bit more...

I've not watched QT for some time, but it popped up at 8 p.m. last night so I decided to watch it. It hasn't improved: egotists shouting at each other, a defeated-looking Tory trying to push the party line, a hopelessly naive religious panellist, and a load of nonsense from the Labour guy. Add in Fiona being feeble and it really has passed its sell by date and should be quietly dropped.

A good summary. I particularly liked the Wes Streeting monologue with injected passion and raised voice thinking he was 'on a winner' when, at the end, not a single clap from the audience, not one. He looked crushed.

I thought it was the best QT for some time (bar is quite low though)...

Tory looked sheepish and like a loser. Bishop naïve as already mentioned. Wes Streeting somewhat credible but doesn't need to try.

Thought Piers Morgan was actually sensible and Farage is increasingly incredible (in the strictest sense of the word).

Don't really understand that. I think she's absolutely fine at the job, she pushes people to answer - particularly the Tory guests, and she also does a decent job at moderating.

She does seem to interrupt a fair amount.

I think some of the problem is that a lot of questions aren't always a straight forward answer

Obviously Fiona Bruce is brilliant, the questions are all on point, the randomly chosen audience represent a realistic cross section of society and it's all absolutely brilliant. The trouble is the non-viewing public are all racist and sexist, getting misinformation and "doing their own research" (aka reading). No matter. Question Time isn't there to pander to the lowest common denominator. It is there to educate and inform its dwindling number of geriatric viewers that they were right all along.

TBF, who under the age of say 60 watches QT anyway?
