im so confused by all this, im a dinosaur.

Gamepass is games to download on a per month basis.

Xbox live is access to online multiplayer gaming.

Where has the ultimate come from?

You linked to 1 moth gamepass ultimate But you can't buy multiple and add them to the account

Often you get the Xbox live 12 month for 26 ish you can stack up to 3 years then upgrade to ultimate and get the game downloads + streaming etc for 1£

Basically 'Ultimate' is the top tier, and gives you both Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.

To be fair that suit me, he doesnt play all the time, it normally comes in bursts when hes not at school, xmas, easter etc, so a 1 month game pass is ideal (apologies just realised ive probably posted in the wrong thread).

Reviving this as my 3 years of ultimate are due to end, or may have lapsed already.

I'd like to do at least another year as I do use it but probably only worth it if a similar mechanism exists. Can it still be done cheaply?

Mine ends in February but I haven't actually played anything for a long time. I should probably just sell the xbox to be fair

My 3 year sub ran out.

It's advised to buy 3x1yr Gold (Turkey) subscriptions via CDKeys.
Then use a VPN (Turkish) to redeem the 3 codes on the MS site.
Finally take up the £1 offer to convert 3 years Gold into 2 Years of Ultimate.

There's a Game Pass Ultimate key on CDKeys that I've been using the past year or so.

IIRC it's 1 month of ultimate for £5-6. I just buy one every month when mine expires as they're non stackable.

For me, despite it being a great deal, I only did about 3 gamepass games so I probably won’t bother doing it again.

Even normal Xbox live I don’t even play much sadly.

My son's expires next month which we have had since we got the series X with 24 months gamepass deal from new. He's not massively bothered about the gamepass games and mainly plays Rainbow Six with his mates, Fifa and VR with the Metaquest but I appreciate we'd need Xbox Live and need to buy R6 as a start. Are there any decent deals or suggestions anyone is aware of before I go to CDKeys and try my luck? thanks and any advice appreciated
