1969 Dodge Charger.
Probably get a very nice one for under £100k still (prices are all over the place and a bit mental with shells fetching 5 figures) but I'd love to do exactly as you say, drive one about for a day.
For me, just a total event to be in and around let alone drive. Doesn't matter that they handle like a ship and they're too big to fit anywhere
A 68 for me, but I'd settle on a 69 if I had to. Probably get a very nice one for under £100k still (prices are all over the place and a bit mental with shells fetching 5 figures) but I'd love to do exactly as you say, drive one about for a day.

I'd love a classic British or Italian sports car. Something light & revvy.
But I also have a secret hankering for the complete opposite of that - a mid 60s Lincoln Continental convertible with the suicide doors. Black with chrome trim. Whitewall tyres.

Excluding existing cars I would say Lamborghini Espada.
Are they back under £100k now?(The Espanda isn't the only car mentioned on this thread which would break the £100k barrier by quite a margin)
I was never ambitious but always loved the Elan Plus 2, so I bought a basket case and after 5 years hard work ended up with this.
Put 15k miles on that car and loved it, only to sell it when I reached the stage when it was fully developed and could not really be made any better.
Missed it so much that I'm on to my second restoration of a Plus 2. I just love them even though many do not - such an underrated car and delightful to drive
