Predictably there's been a lot of chat about the Paul/Tyson fight being a sham but I believe Paul is daft/egotistical enough to think that he can beat Tyson in a real fight and that it will happen.
Just read this fight will be streamed globally on Netflix. Perhaps the only reason I might watch it, in case I can't find a good comedy show that night.

This

As an ageing 50year old man myself who still spars with the younger lads....the power is there and so is my fitness

What I have lost is reactions (am a lot easier to hit and evade punches) and punch absorption

It's just so much harder and I'm super fit and in great shape

we've seen Tyson in his exhibition against Jones, his balance wasn't great either so a bit of lateral movement is all it will take from Paul.

Bookies FWIW have Paul as slight favourite, 8/13 on, Tyson 13/10 against.

First fight in a long while that's genuinely intrigued me. Lots of variables. Hooe it lives up to the hype. Heavyweight contests seldom do, unfortunately.

If Fury Vs Usyk results in a draw, would that then trigger a further unification bout between them?

Impossible to know. Lots of rumours suggest there is a rematch clause, in which case you would normally assume the losing fighter would invoke that clause in order to get another opportunity to regain their titles (and to get paid again).

However, we are not on a normal situation - it all depends what "His Excellency" wants to see next. I think it is plausible, regardless of the result, that Turki decides he wants to see Fury face Joshua next. Or, if he likes the fight with Usyk, we might get the rematch. The normal 'economic' rules of boxing don't apply because in this context Saudi are prepared to pay almost unlimited money for whatever takes their fancy.

And we know Turki loves his fantasy matchups. He is already mulling Naoya vs Tank Davis, and Crawford vs Canelo, even though those don't make competitive sense from a weight perspective.

Short odds on John smile

Worst thing today was that utter tt BJS being given airtime. I had hoped he would just crawl back to his pond after being battered by a decent fighter. But. No.

Usyk coming in almost a stone heavier than he did against AJ. Might be a bit less mobile but potentially be packing a bit more power.

Nah man.... He had big heavy jeans on, big heavy chain.... He's playing games .. Johnny nelson was right on it there... Fury lost his st again.... Usyk still seems like a serial killer.....fury chewing on the gum.... I've seen this st before... And yesterday too .... Not saying it's gonna play a massive part in the result but usyk seems completely unfazed, fury looking wired like a nutter on meow meow

Who you hanging your hat on then tusc?

I'm thinking fury by stoppage before r10. Likely bodyshot
