To the office!

I love the spring drive, and a lot of other GS’s. It is such a shame they don’t have the comfort or micro adjustment on the clasp or I’d buy at least one.

Only one of my watches has a micro adjust, and I don't really use it - can I ask what the appeal is? I just make the strap or bracelet the right size, my wrist doesn't seem to get bigger or smaller.

Another happy Spirit owner here!

The GMT watches are very nice and seem "fairly" priced...

Good question.

It’s because I can never get a bracelet quite right through removing links / half links. I sold my Aqua Terra for this reason.

With micro adjustment I can always get it bang on, and with comfort adjustment I can change it if my wrist changes size - this happens a couple of times a week ans it’s the reason I live in my DJ and AK.

I just don’t understand why premium watch manufacturers omit this very basic feature. I won’t buy a watch without it anymore (although I’m tempted to try a new Aqua Terra on a rubber strap).

Maybe I’m too fussy…..

No no, I'm the same. I like my watch quite snug so the micro adjustments really help with that as links are generally a big step one way or the other. Also, in summer I like a bit of breathing room so it's nice to be able to back it off a tad to avoid a sweaty wrist.

That makes sense. If it's important to you then I don't think it's fussy.

I wish it wasn’t the case, I’d love a spring drive!

Needs a bit of a polish! This material really does take micro scratches easily.

Sorry for the weird angles, but one thing you don't notice otherwise is the amazing way the case and curved glass work...this watch is both very old school, and yet oddly futuristic.

It is both the first serious watch I bought, and remains my favourite. When I look at it up close, I think it is a seriously underrated thing, even against things like Pateks and VCs. The finishing is way better than anything else I own and i think the design (admittedly subjective) is super.

That really is a lovely watch. The first end-on shot shows how the crystal complements the form of the case. Unusual but at the same time classic Breguet.
The similarly curved crystal on my Franck Muller Casablanca is one of my favourite features of the watch too. Especially the way you can sort of see through the dome from certain angles.

It’s a good idea but I love a bracelet. That said I’m pining after an AT on rubber love

I have it on two newer watches and I love it! In fact, I use it daily if the watch has it. My wrist is slightly smaller in the morning, than it is later during the day.

I really miss it when I’m wearing a metal bracelet that doesn’t have it now.

Love Franck Müller. I will have a Totally Crazy one day. I tried one in Geneva about 10 years ago and the fit and curvature was just perfect.

Nice! I've been thinking of a Marathon for a while, how did you get a discount?
