Versace and Gucci Watch Prices...??

I was looking on a major jewellery retailer’s website and noticed that Versace and Gucci watch prices were in the Longines, TAG Heuer and even Tudor price regions. I am absolutely not in the market for a Versace or Gucci watch but am wondering why they are priced so high? Are they any better than a Vivienne Westwood, BOSS, Emporio Armani or any other fashion watches at 5x to 10x the price?

My mum has a Gucci one.

If I suggested an automatic Tudor would’ve been a better choice, she wouldn’t know what I’m on about.
