The chicken shop in soho. Volcano chicken burger meal

Was good. This is a single and they do a double. The single was £15 with fries and bottomless drink
I thought "That looks gooood...", then very shortly thereafter "£15?! It f**king should do!"
This is central London. £15 is not expensive for such a meal here and when you consider a mccrispy meal from McDonald’s would be not far off a tenner I don’t think that’s bad. £15 isn’t what it once was but if you are comparing it to a boss man piece of crap then I guess it could look steep. There isn’t really such a thing as a cheap good take out meal these days IMO less than a tenner is no

Sometimes we have curry night when we go caving/mine exploring. We either collect the food or the Indian place delivers it to the bend in the track. One of us crawls out of the mine and walks down to collect at the agreed time. The curry house think we are mental.

I've completely forgotten what it's called - a chicken tikka with lots of onions and sauce and a naan or two.
You're mental rofl

Top effort, perhaps a new thread is needed titled "Extreme Dirty Takeaway's"

quick - all in one container - snack from the chinese. chips, fried rice and curry sauce.

whilst staring at the menu something struck me. When I was a youngster - 30 years ago - chips from the chinese were 2-3 times the price of chippy chips. Now the chippy chips are 50% dearer than chinese chips.

Had my first ever Parmo on Friday evening after work in Middlesbrough, from Papa Maf's opposite the Travelodge.

Unfortunately, I was so stuffed up with cold I couldn't taste it, so will have to try again. It looked suitably filthy though!

Can't get on board with that, soggy chips are very upsetting.

Once they get mushed up with the rice and sauce it's a culinary delight.

Offf away tomorrow for weekend so Friday here early

Large mixed bab , from a place which seems to be where another shop was , this has a new name , much better than last one , must be new tenants , food was good but they all like that then go down hill after a few orders,

I’m with the owner of building tomorrow doing some gas certs on his rentals I’ll have to ask who’s in there now

I'm beginning to hate these newer kebab places that do german style. £10+ for a kebab sandwich with chips is quite laughable. old skol chippy will have doner&chips or a doner (pitta salad) for anywhere from £6-8, and a larger portion too.
