I'm trying to define a complex proposition to sell to clients. My ADHD brain requires a serious distraction while I focus on the task (if you know anything of ADHD, you'll get this). So for a real distraction for that side of my brain, I'm having an Emmylou Harris morning.

Radio 3. I couldn't tell you what it is that's playing, but it's very nice.

A relatively direction for me, but I am finding it great - unobtrusive, mellow, relaxing - to have on in the background whilst working. Better than Classic FM, because I hate adverts.

Cold beer in hand and Joy Division on loud. Digital.

Just a bit too young to have seen them live.

What. A. Band.

Really must watch control again. Such a great performance by the chap who plays Ian.

Gary Moore live in 82 and 83 on various YT clips (his best phase I believe with the best backing band he had - I'm not counting TL)

Being trying to listen to Anchorage after hearing it on the radio. Always thought it was a KD Lang song but it's actually Michelle Shocked. Trouble is she's apparently cancelled herself after a run in on some trans views. You cannot get this wonderful Dylan-esque track anywhere digitally nor pretty much any of her back catalogue. Even YouTube has been purged. Only options are used CD's, vinyl or direct from Michelle herself at $250 a pop. I was shocked that it only made 60-something on the charts both here and the US, I was sure it was a massive hit.

Eric Burdon & The Animals
(Eric turned 83 a couple days ago)

Burdon was spot on back in 1967 with these lyrics when he sang Monterey at that year's Monterey Pop Festival...

'You wanna find the truth in life...
Don't pass music by'

Someone on a other thread mentioned Deliverance so I had to head to

Opeth - Deliverance. The newer remixed which I never really tried before. Not sure which I prefer.
