I think she's angry because he's brought the legal profession into disrepute in her opinion.

Some stingers been thrown, this is the guy that resigned from all his positions before giving evidence, he knows what he's done it's written all over his face.

He was unwell last year, and part of the inquiry was delayed as a result. May be something to do with that?

He lives in Wales and it was probably a condition of him taking the role, doesn't appear in person that often, he is retired after all.

I hope that he has a multi-screen view of things, rather than just the live stream we see. An important part of his role should, I’d have thought, be observing the witnesses as they’re asked the questions, not just as they’re answering them!

he also seems to have a switch which disables other people from talking and allows the stream to focus on him

I've got it on in the background while WFH today, so only half listening, but that did prick an ear up from me.

Also, I'm getting the occasional advert during the live stream (YouTube) just me, or everyone? EDIT. Just realised I was watching the Sky feed rather than the Official enquiry feed.

No need - plenty of dodgy briefs advertising their services on the official feed.

Somehow I have the sub-titles on and they are amusingly wrong at times. Can't write king (Cartwright King) is a good one

This was simply a legal gravy train wasn't it. Snouts in trough, ask no questions, follow instructions.
