They make a really good double-act. Richard particularly is incredibly sharp-witted and creative. It's easy to see where much of Top Gear's humour came from when you listen to the stuff that he pulls out off the top of his head.
He is the George Martin to CHM. The under appreciated genius!

Also remember them joking about a town somewhere (Burton Latimer was it?) sounding like a South African bloke with a sketchy family history that was pretty funny. I also found 'Richard Pictures' waaaay funnier than it should have!
Wendens Ambo. I remember this because we used to play Rugby against them

This Bristol live one is hilarious, audience interaction works really well as it gives them both something else to bounce off.

Puffy pillow absolutely floored me, glad I wasn't sat in traffic for that one!

Yes, the London Concours. Don’t plan too much time, it’s tiny. 2hrs should see you right, an hour if you just want to see shiny things.

Took a good few minutes for everyone to regain their composure on the night! Thankfully some editing saved the dead space of us all corpsing for a good 5 minutes.

Massive fan (and patron) of the podcast here. Only recently caught up having started from the beginning. I generally listen in the gym which can be embarrassing when I start cracking up mid way through a set!

On that side of things, does anyone know where the boots vouchers track came from? Can’t recall it being mentioned in an episode?

I really enjoy the pod and listen every Monday on the way to work.

I feel proud of myself in a similar way to getting a question right on University Challenge when I guess some bit of obscure car trivia they're talking about.

Richard is fantastically funny and Johnny too but sometimes he can come across as trying a bit hard (Stellantis beatbox).

I also cannot stand the 'Johnny's other YouTube channel ' bit at the end. Uncomfortably unfunny.

Really? I think that they are often hilarious! (And clearly, so does Johnny)

Is that not kind of the point of the 'Jonny's other YT channel' bit? Is it not supposed to be ridiculously st?

The story about the wedding photographers pants falling down in yesterdays pod proper tickled me laugh

I marvel at the creativity, and some are genuinely very funny. I thought it would be a fairly short-lived thing, but clearly people have very vivid imaginations!

I sort of know what you mean, but they make a good balanced duo. Johnny's 'random' one-liners are often the launchpad for some very funny content, and I suspect neither would be anywhere near as funny on their own.

First S&S FOS you tube video out now.

At the Bonham's sale. An absolutely delightful 30 minute meander. Their natural energy and enthusiasm, plus their enjoyment of eachother's company shines through.

These guys really could do a TV series proud.

Worth saying that it is on a Goodwood YT channel, not their own.
