The tall one from The Inbetweeners.

Or Will Poulter.
The one who gets his balls kicked by the labrador when playing pool?

It's a left field choice, I'll give you that.

Patrick McGoohan.

Although I think his strongly held philosophical views would have clashed with the producers perception of Bond as a character who not only enjoyed the finer things in life but could be hugely ostentatious about it too.

Matt Berry.

For the voice, the innuendos and the everything.

If I was Bezos/Musk/Gates, I'd *pay* for this to happen
That would be good but everyone is scared to death of parodying the character after austin powers, and suddenly getting no more work.
Give it a few years and everyone can have the bond they want. Pay for your own AI generated film starring Sean Connery or even benny hill in whatever era you prefer.
I would like to see the benny hill character in the Italian Job get his own series.

If non white actors could be considered, I could see Dev Patel maturing into a Bond character.

Sean Bean, although as 006 he came quite close...

And at the other end of the scale James Corden

Adrian Lester would have made a decent suave Bond.

Tell me what you understand by the phrase 'at the other end of the scale'? smile
