Was surprised with this comment so checked, dont see the same myself and I had a quick look at last 3 / 5 / 8 videos. AutoAlex doing materially better than TDC no matter what trend you use (I have ignored the latest autoalex video as released12hrs ago).

My impression and views confirm is that TDC and ATG got a huge boost at the beginning but they are now settling down to their normal numbers which is much less than autoalex (in TDC case it looks they are at 60% of Autoalex numbers). If they dont get budget / projects / new ideas then I expect this gulf will only grow.

Regarding All The Gear, I was looking forward to their first proper video but almost missed it because the original thumbnail didn’t stand out. It was only when people mentioned it here that I realised. They’ve now changed it, with Jack and Ethan more prominent, and it’s currently at 125k views.

I’m pleased that they’re doing their own thing, trying to establish their own identity. It didn’t feel like a derivative of AutoAlex, and I think it was wise not to have Alex & Co. in their first video. I’m sure there will be some collaborations further down the line.

I think there will be risks in doing that, and it wouldn’t surprise me if views decline in the short term, but I hope they find an audience.

I enjoyed it.

I really like Will, he's a proper car guy and I like his sense of humour. Was surprised to see a few negative comments on here about him, but we can't all like the same things I guess.
It helps that I watched a lot of Overdrive videos with him in so he's not a new face for me.

I'm still enjoying them all.

Frankly they all make a refreshing change from Shmee, STG and SoL if I'm honest, all of whom have dropped off my radar into optional watches rather than 'must' watches.

He clearly doesn’t need the income from YT and it never really recovered after the lockdowns. So can’t really blame him for not posting regularly.
