Where is that? She looks fairly high and dry.
Keyhaven, just around the corner from Hurst Castle, looking towards the Isle of Wight. The map shows that specific area as Hawkers Lake, which is odd as it's the Solent...

Not gloating. Not at all.

Bluebird skies. 24 degs on the Mercury. I’ll make the most of it while we can. It is Scotland after all this is peak summer.
I really don't understand how there can be such a difference withing a relatively small area. 12 degrees here with hardly a sign of blue sky all day here near Edinburgh.
If it's any consolation, sometimes there's the same difference between coastal and inland Aberdeenshire and maybe only 20 miles difference irked

There are times when I just won't open this thread because we have a grey miserable day and I know that Snow and Rocks will be posting pictures of blue sky and sunshine where they are biglaugh

It might look quite picturesque but 12 degrees and foggy in East Lothian isn't too inspirational for me.

Just about to light the BBQ and it's started rumbling! Rain radar says there's a torrential shower to the north of us, just where two of my kids are doing a DofE practice hike. hehe

Another glorious evening in Warwick. None of the wet stuff from a month ago.

Another stonking 22 deg + bluebird sky day in Deeside. This shot shows Lochnagar with the last bit of remaining snow in the gulleys. Cold temps come in tomorrow

Lovely day up in the North East.

We headed towards the North York Moors for a walk out but within 5 miles of leaving the house the weather was overcast, low cloud and about 4 degrees colder. Ended up staying close to home which turned out to be the right result as I think the weather clung closer to the coast most of the day.

Lovely blue sky morning on the Fylde coast.

Fry up breakfast sat outside...almost like being on holiday :-)

Does anyone know of a good medium weather forecast for the USA? I’m out there in a little over a week, and with the amount of tornadoes that have been happening in Texas and Tennesse, I’d like to keep an eye if I’m going to end up in Kansas!

About as good as the weather gets this weekend. Watched the mrs do a Tough mudder in Henley and caught the sun a little, BBQ with some friends and a nice walk this morning. Nice temperatures and a light breeze.

Even some of the local ‘permawet’ roads have dried out!

Absolutely perfect weather for being out and about today, the Chiltern Hills Classic Car Rally was being held around the corner from where I live so spent a couple hours bimbling about in the sun looking at all the cars, buses, trucks etc. A pretty good day.

I’m fairly convinced that perfect for me is a sunny 22 with a light breeze. Just perfect. Anything cooler or warmer isn’t perfectly comfortable for me.

Yeah I'd settle for that. Once in a while a scorcher is ok if you've got proper fk all to do but above low 20s and everything becomes much harder than it should be.

Glad to be of service! Hopefully this continues as we're getting married in a marquee in the garden on Saturday... Probably biblical rain after weeks of sunshine!

Weekend looking so-so, not a wash out.

Next week....? Did somebody say 'high pressure'? (Of course it is - it's my birthday!)

Forecast looking good for Saturday! (You know how good it’s been all week too). A bit premature, but congratulations for Saturday. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness together smile
