Yes.

Same for all the top sides so our only disadvantage is the change of coaching staff.

Hopefully a new manager bounce in August.

The challenge will depend on how many players a team wants to bring in, how many players are on international duty, how much they're likely to play and how far their teams are likely to go in the tournaments.

Not the same for all top sides, especially with regards to Copa America.

Is their a great disparity as to which teams have players on international duty?
Would have thought city and arsenal had loads, but wouldn't know for sure

Not sure I would ever pick Pickford over Ederson, Allison. Vicario has been excellent too

Rodri would edge it over RIce

I'm not sure he'd do the national team. He's so hands on and invested in his players, I don't think working with a team once every few months would work with his methods.
Agree. I think he'd have to make a number of changes to his approach. I'm also not sure Klopp's preferred way of playing would be compatible with tournament football scheduling.

Having started watching a Klopp video from Sky I left my YouTube to do it's own thing. The volume of material released over the last week or two is remarkable.

You can't really briefly sum up the last 9 years but there's no doubt it's sad to seem him go. Albeit better to go this way than have a slump and quit or be fired under worse circumstances. We've almost become accustomed to having a belief that almost any game was winnable and we could be competitive and we've enjoyed a lot of success (with a load more near misses to boot). He's certainly left a legacy and will be a loss to the club, the City and to the game in general.

I wish FSG had been able to put more money in to the team so we were more equipped to compete every season of his tenure; some of the transfer activities and squad management was poor enough to leave us compromising entire seasons waiting for the right players - some of whom never came. It's a real shame the title win came during COVID so we missed a big party and it's a bigger shame that the whole period coincided with City's dominance.

I find it odd that expressing regret about being in the shadow of City, and the context behind that, is seen as being "salty". City are apparently playing to their own rules. A league within a league. I admire Pep and what he has achieved. I appreciate the way they play and their continuous high standards and drive. Expressing doubts about the whole thing as a consequence of 115 FFP charges is just that. There's a definite shadow cast over the outcomes.

I know absolutely nothing about Slot so have no idea what to expect. LFC has just announced he's coming laugh

The transfer activity this summer will be interesting, not least the Salah situation.

I knew Casimero and Jesus had been dropped, surprised about Richi though. National tournaments are usually when he's at his best.
