Overall shape is great, but did the door stylist not talk to the rear fender stylist? Nasty inflection at the back edge of the door that I can’t now unsee…
I can’t see a surface inflection other than the deliberate design change in surface direction (surface tangency break hidden by the door shut) from door to wheel arch which increases as it travels to the floor. There is a point where the break has become continuous again just under the horizontal body side feature line over a small space which maybe what you’re noticing.

... with the blacked out glass rear window it might look too van like...
Which Ferrari van do you think this could be confused with? I get that you may not like privacy glass, so why not just say that?

Usually I quite quickly form a good idea on the types of colors I want to see on the car, but for this one I am completely blank. I will be doing Atelier on mine, so loads of room to do some interesting stuff except make my own color (TM possible but unsure if I want to wait that long). White, Yellow, Black (but boring) and the triple layer reds look beautiful on the car so far. But my Pista is triple layer red, my 812 is TDF blue, so don't want to go red or blue.

Thinking about something more "out there" like a burgundy or light green, but honestly this car is so color dependant it's a bit unnerving trying to get a bit brave with the color.

Feel sorry for those who have to buy one to keep on Ferrari's `Good customer` list.
Ugh me too, I'm starting a GoFundMe for these poor wretches right now.

I love it.

The black glass roof + tailgate + "wings" really good and then the Daytona front panel. Very well done.

9500RPM for the 12 cylinder must be exhilarating.

Maybe I'm mental, but the front reminds me of the Rover SD1. hehe
Well the SD1 was designed to look like the 365 Daytona.

I saw a Focus of all things in a really smart almsot aubergine purple.

I reckon that (or very similar) would look stunning on this car

Very unlike me to say, but I think I prefer it as a drop top. Maybe it's the colour combination which is pretty gorgeous.

I do see 'Astra' in the front though...

I must be in the minority but I don’t think it really looks good at all, certainly not pretty.

I like the drop top a lot - but don't like the coupe at all. Not that Ferrari will care about my opinions laugh

I’m in the minority too… to my eyes it’s not a cohesive piece of design. The just doesn’t work, the interior… that’s basically what Ferrari’s are these days. I may change my mind when I see one in the metal… I’ll get a good look when the local emporium, Ferrari Colchester, get one in.

Not a fan. Not that I’m a buyer, but I prefer the F12 and 812.

As a been mentioned, they're referencing the (non pop-up headlamp version) 365GTB Daytona:

Where's the PHers to tell us that 830bhp is far too much for a road car because you can't use it all? Or is that argument just for Aston Martin? hehe

Best looking modern Ferrari that I have seen, the glass on the flanks just flows into the roofline.

First class ( with a price tag that is closer to those that can charter a plane )
