Can I add Uber, Lyft, Addison Lee drivers for their random stopping on zigzags, lane changes and compete lack of awareness? Japanese MPV on the way to an airport in Lane 3/4 - oh surprise it's an Uber driver. At least Black Cabs do these things for the sake of being asshats. biggrin I now steadfastly refuse to help any Uber type driver or let them out.
AL used to be very bad on the routes into Gatwick, you always had to watch out for crazy manoeuvres and high speeds.

But one advantage of them being given EVs now is their driving has calmed down as they are trying to maximise range smile

Will be some bore who spouts off on a car website about how bad other drivers are. They always have an overestimation of their abilities and a total absence of self-awareness.

Many motorists on the motorways at weekends - particularly Bank Holiday weekends. Weekdays seem much better, probably because the drivers use motorways a lot, but weekends seem like the wacky races, with drivers apparently oblivious to the rules.

Stretching the definition of driver, a cyclist who sets out with a go-pro and an attitude looking for trouble.

Objectively it will be a stolen car being pursued by the police

There are loads of things that frustrate me on the roads and many of them come with some level of danger but it's always testosterone fuelled over confidence and aggression that bothers me most because ultimately I think it represents the biggest danger and insurance companies seem to largely agree. The 40mph brigade, Ubers, Park where you likers, angry cyclists etc are all very annoying and offer some danger one way or another but not in the same league IMO.

I'd also have to nominate HGV drivers. Not all of them by a very long stretch but given the level of risk their vehicles can pose, I'd rather not have even a small percentage that are crap. Being tailgated by them through roadworks barely 6 foot from your bumper scares the crap out of me to be honest. You only have to look at what happens to cars that are rear ended by HGV's to know why!

Just because they were stupid enough to film their escapades for consumption over the internet, doesn't mean they're clever enough to work out that they should have stopped their escapades altogether..

The infallible belief those chavs had in their 'driving skill', when even a casual observer could see the car's electronic aids and sheer levels of outright grip were doing the heavy lifting (along with a dose of self-preservation from other road users), was absolutely astounding.

I more meant because he was jailed.

Unless there were more than one certi driver producing content. Have to admit, when I saw one of these videos, I almost found the support for them in the comments etc more worrying than the driving itself. Absolute dregs.

He/she may well be a contributor to a dashcam "bad driving" video, possibly demonstrating how easy it is to T-bone a vehicle if you drive at it by crossing the central markings of a mini roundabout when turning right.

Maybe someone will disagree, but I am a long believer that, not G-D forbid one should break any laws, but the fact is, the biggest lie is that speeding kills (no I don't mean 60 miles over the speed limit I mean within reason).
It is BAD drivers that kill.
A bad driver will more likely kill than a speeding driver.
The proof is, that in certain exceptions to the rule, speeding will be looked away, as in the case of police, ambulance, doctors, fire-engines etc on a call, but even regular people if there is a plausible genuine emergency warranting them to do this, obviously within the constraints of the law.
Police etc go through special driving courses to teach them how to be able to speed and not be a danger to the road, hence my point that it is not speeding per se that kills, it is when driving in a dangerous matter that kills.

My personal experience being on the road a lot is that mopeds and delivery drivers are the worst, with some cabers not far behind. They have many times no knowledge in driving on English roads, and simply are a danger to themselves and others.

Yes, they drop back from the traffic when it's more than 40, but then aggressively tailgate when they catch up in a slower limit or during hazards with their head looking like it's about to explode because traffic is slower than them wink

No awareness of dangers and the appropriateness of speed for the conditions. Just one set speed everywhere.
Inevitably driving a Honda Jazz, in these parts at least

Absolutely zero awareness of what's going on in any direction around them. Also witnessed on two occasions in the past year colliding with another vehicle and driving away without stopping. One of them was Mrs. Limpet's. frown

Statistically it is a recently qualified teenager when carrying passengers.

Has to be anyone driving a mercedes sprinter van hire firm vehicle, I'm surprised that the hire firms don't get a load of grief, 2 weeks ago one on the A1 north near wetherby was easily doing plus 90 and using all 3 lanes to progress.

The stats don't lie:

"Young male car drivers aged 17 to 24 are 4 times as likely to be killed or seriously injured compared with all car drivers aged 25 or over".
