Inevitably driving a Honda Jazz, in these parts at least

Absolutely zero awareness of what's going on in any direction around them. Also witnessed on two occasions in the past year colliding with another vehicle and driving away without stopping. One of them was Mrs. Limpet's. frown
Billy basic Fiat 500 around here. There a nightmare.

Depends on the time of day and location.

I can drive to see a friend (20 miles away) and come across whole groups of crap drivers who don't travel on the roads local to me.
Are they all going the wrong way on the motorway heading towards you at high speed? The crazy fools!

One on their phone.

Few mph over the limit and a camera has you but round my way it feels like half the drivers are head down texting or checking their "status". Seen two drive into stationery cars/objects in the past year and another almost end up off the road on a NSL oblivious to the fact they were heading at the oncoming traffic.

For me, the worst drivers are the ones not paying attention and this IMO is due to the current emphasis that you'll be safe if you don't speed.
Yep, throw in an inability to make the better decisions. For instance, every few months I'll come across a woman (it's ALWAYS a woman) driver stuck in a non-camera/non-box junction with everyone driving round her. She would have driven into the junction behind another car, then seen the lights go red; there would have been a moment where she could have safely gone but now she'll sit there for 3 minutes with people having to drive around her often glaring or hooting at her. She made a poor decision. It's no big deal but still, it's a sign of incompetence. She'll no doubt go on to reverse into your car at Tesco.

Another vote, although the Mr 40 is a close second.

Had one on the phone the other day on the M62, outside lane, speeding up and slowing down past me while I had my cruise set at 70. I look over, his head down in his lap with his right hand holding "something" literally the whole time for about a minute, holding up a huge ever growing queue behind him.

I assume it was a phone, there are other things you can hold with your right hand in your lap...

Looks up, see's me looking at him and I'm guessing based on face expressions, mouth and hand movements towards me that he was a bit upset I caught him in the act and prompted to disappear at a fast rate.

I probably agree. Phone in lap people.

As an alternative - commuters. At their best when stuck in a jam because if they get a bit of space .... look out!

Have to agree! We have one who visits somebody in the care home opposite, with his wife. Twice now he has driven across the lawns that separate our block of 4 flats from the home. Purely because he was a) blocked by an ambulance with blue lights near the entrance that stopped him leaving via the actual road and b) blocked by a fire engine, again with blue lights, that stopped him entering the grounds so he decided to cut across the grass! The fire engine actually left 3 minutes later. Not before one of the firemen commented loudly about "The tt in the pickup!
Mr Entitled ahole will soon find his way blocked by some freshly planted bushes or wooden posts with a rope stretched between around the perimeter! I've suggested he be sent an invoice for damage to the grass even though it's grown enough to hide the fact now.

SUV drivers. Doesn't matter about demographic of the driver, definately the worst attitude.

Whether it's plowing through a gap or past parked cars (on their side, so they should be giving way), driving down the middle of the road on smaller country lanes, parked anywhere they like and the no 1 classic - having their lights on (middle of the day, fine weather) and driving on your rear bumper even though we're in a queue of moving traffic doing the speed limit,

VW drivers.

GTD, GTi, R drivers drive way too fast and want to race everyone.

Pole and boggo Golf drivers usually drive at least 10mph under the speed limit.

Tiguan and t-roc drivers are usually mommies who are paying no attention to the road.

Then Amarok drivers are usually tradies driving like tradies do.

Never seen an arteon driven badly mind you.

Anyone who wears a hat whilst driving is usually one of the worst drivers - doesn't seem to matter what type of hat, but it always seems to prevent any signals getting to or from their brain.

Their driving is generally even worse if the car is also fitted with wind deflectors, 4D numberplates, or worse still both.

Easy. Any taxi or private hire vehicle (with the notable exception of London black cabs, at least they have a degree of professionalism).

For me it’s gotta be the dhead director driving a flash car who’s running late. Can’t stand getting tailed and seeing Audi, BMW or Merc headlights in my rear view mirror.

I’m with you on this. I used to enjoy driving in London but the aggression from the cab drivers has made it highly unpleasant. At times it seems like half the cars on the road are Prius.

I’ll also throw SUV drivers in as well. Often equally aggressive as cab drivers.
