Indigo blue wheels and decals

Wow someone paid PTS extra ££ for Aventurine.
No reason why the Spyder RS won't follow the residual price trajectory of the GT4RS back towards list especially given price parity on used GT4 and Spyder.
Will depend if they build as many spyders and gt4rs cars. No reason why the Spyder RS won't follow the residual price trajectory of the GT4RS back towards list especially given price parity on used GT4 and Spyder.
Im not sure where the spyder really sits, 250k for a boxster!

£250k is clearly insane but understandable as it is relatively the new kid on the block just like the 4 RS was initially.
Interesting there are far fewer Spyders than GT4s of both 981 and 718 generations and yet despite this there remains price parity between the cars.
The RS Spyder v 4 RS will be no different.

Suspect you’re right - assuming they actually build 100/200 or so of them. I would wager a fair few “big fish” will buy them either because they can and/or they expect a premium to be had. These guys will then try and use the roof a couple of times,No reason why the Spyder RS won't follow the residual price trajectory of the GT4RS back towards list especially given price parity on used GT4 and Spyder.
Get pi**ed off and return the cars to the selling OPC. Spyder at list by year end? Problem is, list will likely be £150K plus as many will go WP/ceramic/mag wheels in the initial spec I expect…

Be perhaps more interesting and relevant to pitch the (now unavailable new) 718 Spyder PDK against the RS Spyder.
Btw it appears the Press Spyder RS is suffering from the dreaded typical 718 Cayster rear light condensation.
I would agree - on both points!Btw it appears the Press Spyder RS is suffering from the dreaded typical 718 Cayster rear light condensation.
Actually, I think there was also some condensation inside the headlights.
I was getting the feeling that they were "justifying" their choice of GTS v SRS because they could not get hold of the "normal" Spyder.
To keep on saying the normal Spyder is just a Boxster is quite annoying when the aero, brakes, front subframe, front suspension (from 991 GT3?) steering and rear suspension (bespoke) are all different from the GTS kind of undermines their opinion, surely?
I bet if you go back to Dan Prosser's videos of the 718 Spyder launch he was emphasising how it is not a Boxster.
And is the SRS chassis so different....?
And I would be far more interested to know how the ride and handling of the Spyder RS compares with the normal Spyder. Much talk about it being more compliant than the GT4RS but no assessment versus the most relevant comparable car.
Regardless of the Spyder no longer being orderable new, which is - to me - a red herring.

Pretty shrewd if you ask me. No reason why the Spyder RS won't follow the residual price trajectory of the GT4RS back towards list especially given price parity on used GT4 and Spyder.
Not many others will pick a normally standard colour as PTS so there will be very few and it’s a good looking colour imo.

Do you think the lucky allocated buyer decided it wasn’t for them after the first 15 mile journey on the way home or it’s for sale for another reason ?
!!!!!
That car begs the question I've had in my head since launch (a question also raised by Harry in his latest Dakar review)...!!!!!
If it were you speccing up a Spyder with your own money, could you bring yourself to swap the standard £4k+ worth of carbon bucket loveliness for the 18way sofas, but crucially see no reduction in the price you pay...?
As for the colour spec on that car, IMO a complete yawn-fest.
Classic case of another John Major spec.
Don't mind the Venadium l....it is everything Agate with its brown undertones isn't, but that car desperately needs some colour such as red/yellow calipers red/yellow belts/door pulls/stitching etc.
As for the hideous black wheels yet more dullness against the grey.
As ever though, each to their own.
