Definitely being released here - insurance likely expensive, but so is everything else nowadays. Certainly unlikely to be much different to the existing 3 Performance.

Insurance will be fun on the car if it gets released here!
Any particular reason?

Insurance costs are high for a regular Tesla, so one that might do 0-60 in sub 3 seconds would be even higher you would think.

Looks like the announcement of the new M3 Performance/Plaid/Ludicrous won't be far away. I'd bet on a 0 - 60 of around 2.5 ish.

New rear spoiler, front spoiler, sports seats, lower, different brake set up etc..

I'm guessing £59,990, making it a round £10k between each variant.

At least 680 hp if badged ‘Ludicrous’ which should be under 3s to 60. I hope they fit some decent suspension and ideally air for better comfort.

That would be in line with previous model steps. I wonder if this is a bigger 'step' than usual though. They've reduced the other Model 3s but this feels like they've tried to distinguish it further from them by not just calling it a Performance again.

At £60k I'll be ordering straight away.

Surprised to have not seen any pop up on AT yet? Have no cars paid in cash been delivered yet?

Seen 4-5 of them now, looks excellent.

A new video leak of the inside of new 'Performance' model 3. I like the sound of the 'insane' acceleration option biglaugh

Now the "Insane" acceleration option is the bit that doesn't add up to me. Everything about this car points to Ludicrous (including the logo in that very car), but in Tesla's performance ladder, Insane is one rung below Ludicrous, with Plaid atop that. So, this car is badged as Ludicrous, but doesn't have a Ludicrous mode. Wat? headache

Still, bits about this new info look really interesting!

From what i can tell, the new Perfomance will be badged as 'Ludicrous'. You will then have a further option to upgrade/unlock the 'Insane' acceleration mode. Similar to the old Long Range where you could pay 1.5K to add the acceleration boost.

Unlikely that way round - As said Insane was lower power than ludicrous in the past, there was also ludicrous+ but that was just a mode

The badge is Plaid, I’m going with that

And maybe all the news yesterday was an April’s fool joke
