Yep, it does now. I am certain it wasn’t there before today’s security-only release (I’ve been checking regularly since updating to the adaptive-release two weeks ago having checked those release notes). I updated this morning and it was available after that. Odd, but never mind: all’s well that etc.!

What’s the headlights after exit? Mines switched off.
Got the new highbeam update yesterday but my car couldn’t pick up my home WiFi so just nipped into a nearby Tesla dealership and it did it there in the car park a few mins.
Keeps them on for a few seconds after you leave the car. Got the new highbeam update yesterday but my car couldn’t pick up my home WiFi so just nipped into a nearby Tesla dealership and it did it there in the car park a few mins.

I’m investigating the sentry mode at the moment, not sure why I want this but always fun to check out the features etc.
I'd suggest using sentry mode sparingly, its ok and has captured plenty of instances of door digs etc for owners, but it is pretty thirsty in battery consumption and can use anything up to 20 miles or so of range every day. I tend to stick to only using it when parked somewhere particularily dodgy for a few hours, and never when leaving the car in a long stay car park when going on holiday or at home where it's covered by my CCTV. It will turn itself off at around 20% but that might still be too low in some situations.
Can anyone advise on continually recording dash cam?
I would like my dash cam recording all the time the car is moving. Someone accused my wife of scraping their car the other day which she is adamant didn't happen. No scuff or scratch to suggest it happend. But would be good to have dash cam footage
Wife didn't know how to turn on recording but I've shown her now
But I'd prefer for continual recording
Also, any SSD will be fine right? I don't need the £305 Tesla one, right?
Thanks

Any SSD is fine. I’ve had a 512GB Samsung T5 in mine for at least 3 years without issue. I’ve heard people using endurance SD cards in an USB enclosure but that seems like a faff to me.

Does the matrix update negate the need to drop the beam aim down a couple of notches in settings?
This update changed the dipped beam pattern for me. A lot less elevated on the left, but still effective. My car passed an MOT without any adjustments a few days after the update, for what it’s worth.Durzel said:

It records continually whilst driving but only has a small reftention buffer (I can;t remember the length but its certainly not measured in hours). If she's suspicious of anything she needs to either save it from the screen or hit the horn and it will save a copy..It's better than nothing but only justI would like my dash cam recording all the time the car is moving.
