I’m wondering where it’s all gone wrong at Tesla. Clearly they have some fantastic Engineers and designers and a huge pile of cash reserves but something is rotten there and I can quite put my finger on what it is.
Have you not sat in a ford F150, dodge 1500, etc.? The build quality is laughably bad. Tesla are US standard which is pretty poor by german/ japanese standards. Lots of reasons US best sellers don't sell or can't be sold outside of the US.I'm not really interested in how rubbish an F150 might be, this is about the Cybertruk.
It has some very well engineered mechanicals covered in a awful quality skin and interior parts. Fixing a dangerous safety issue with a pop rivet and then even cocking up that simple solution in practice - it's all a little strange for the company.

They’ve already said it’s not coming to Europe in its current form, it can’t meet the regulations.
As for testing before shipping, that’s what customers are for in the Tesla world

Some bellend decided to go one better than all the other bellends who were videoing their Cybertruck frunk lid chopping up vegetables and put his finger in there instead.

It’s not for sale in Europe, it’s just a brand promotion to get the Tesla fanboys all excited about something they can’t buy
There is one touring Australia too. They’ll never sell it here either.hidetheelephants said:

That was hilarious and does nothing to dispel the notion of Americans and their low IQ's. ChocolateFrog said:
Hoovie towed a Delorean behind his Cybertruck and the latter made the former look like it was put together by Lexus.
That really shows up the st Tesla build quality. And he paid an extra $20k for self driving but it doesn't have it yet and doesn't know when he will either. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRioLg7F_EIFourWheelDrift said:

I paid for self-driving on my Model S. not only were the hoped for / promised features not available by the time I got it, they’d even removed some that had worked on the test drive.Gassing Station | Tesla | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
