Interesting choice of musical taste from the previous owner there..
Shame the nav isnt working but the unit looks smart,at least.
I'm assuming you can't utilise the OEM gearstick boot with the shifter in place there.

The boot fits quite nicely actually, don't think I've got any photos though.

Purists, avert your eyes.

15mm spacers, before and after. Nice, subtle cosmetic change.

That looks really well pal. Sits perfectly

When I'm recovered and able to fettle with my tools again, I'll be fitting 12mm spacers and a stud conversion to my F31

Thanks mate. Money no object I'd have got the same effect with a new set of Enkeis but unfortunately money is an object and I've not long spent 400 quid getting these wheels restored. I did however notice the wheel nuts are a bit minging so I'm gonna get myself some new ones.

Sorry to hear you've not been 100%, all the best.

Yeah some Enkeis would look superb. But those wheels look great IMO

You going to get some lightweight Budddyclub bolts or similar? Think I've a full set in the garage somewhere from my Honda days haha

Aye should be all sorted now hopefully. Recover from this op & back to normality sometime very soon

Just in time for our road trip up to The Highlands

I'll probably get Tegiwa or even the Mugen ones. I don't think you can get the Buddyclub in M12x1.5. But whilst looking I did come across some RPF1 knockoffs by Ultralite which are very tempting...

One thing I forgot to mention which I've just sorted this morning is if you put an English head unit in, it will try and talk to the (Japanese) upper digital display (shows temp, CD/radio info, clock). The info will get lost in translation and it will just show a load of random lines, or sometimes nothing at all. A few quid on eBay for an English LCD display and five minutes work will have it sorted.

Hm, not sure why I couldn't find them, I'll blame the algorithm. Probably a bit rich for me to be fair, they'd be £150 for a full set. The Tegiwas are same design and also aluminium.... And bloody hell they're on eBay for £28 down from £66. I've had good experiences with their 'own brand' stuff so I'm gonna get them, seems daft not to.

Edit: no I'm not, it's only the gold ones for that price.

Looks like your cat can't keep away from boxes just like mine!
Good news on the MOT, job done for another year and can concentrate on more fun things hopefully.

Cheers folks.

The only thing I was worried about for the MOT was the rear fog. The car didn't have one on import so TGT wired in a switch and converted one of the reverse lights to be the fog and while the bulb is very red, the colour it emits is not really red at all. If I was behind the car with the fog light on and I didn't know any better, I'd think it was in reverse.

The cat hates boxes and anything else fun. I just plonked him on there for a laugh.

I had got pulled up for the same thing with the fog light bulb not emitting a red enough light. When I got the car livery done,he had some nice red tint film so we just cut a circular overlay to go on the rear light which sorted it.You can make out the slightly darker circle where the right hand reverse light on the lens is,emits a good red light now. You dont notice it at all unless its pointed out. Thats what i did anyway

Got 'round to getting some new wheels nuts. Was tempted by a jazzy blue or something but eventually went with boring old grey. Will fit on Friday hopefully.

In other news, the Accord badge fell off so that's been replaced. And I lost my screen wash cap (i.e. I forgot to put it back on) so one of them on the way too. Nothing exciting I'm afraid.

Hmm, not sure I love them to be honest but they're on now. A bit too 'race car'.

Also put a new air filter in today. Old one looked fine but nice to know it's fresh. Just a Bosch one mind, I'm not convinced by 'performance' panel filters.
