Acosta's performance on the KTM has nothing to do with this....really, not, well maybe a little.

“Since I'm competitive, next year I want to have a latest evolution bike to fight for the world championship. Regardless of where it is, regardless of the colour or brand. I have clear ideas.”

They could afford him. Herve is praying because he would have one of them since Binder is contracted in.

Works better from a Redbull perspective too. The Ducati/Monster tie up is a bit of an issue. Can't see it being an insurmountable one though.
Similar issue with 93 on that front as well…

Wouldn't be an issue on a Red Bull Gresini Ducati...just the factory sponsored by Monster.

Ok, the racing is good though innit?
It is now but some folk just want to know the results before it starts. Marquez on a factory Ducati promises that outcome.

It's normal for the best riders to want the best machinery and as a Marc fan I want that for him. I'm not convinced he will just be clearing off into the distance if this happens like the old days, but, yeah.. he's been out in the wilderness a long time and this is him getting back in sync with things and it's obviously going to shake things up and put others nose out of joint. Like it or not it is the biggest thing to happen in MGP for a while.

That's a Marquez quote that FWD has posted.

I'm talking about 93.

If Marquez wins the title this year (not sure he will) then I reckon he’ll be at KTM next year on a full factory or fully supported bike. Too big an opportunity for both of them to miss out on.

Reading the predictions on this thread is like watching blindfolded Darts players, play a game of darts, eventually, someone, by luck, will hit a "bullseye".

There are not that many options out there gentleman.

1 single PH BB point for who gets it right.

I enjoyed the Moto2 race, shame about Roberts dropping back but at least he still scored points.

The Moto GP was excellent.

That’s probably the only thing that’s crashed more than Marquez.

Hard to believe these are the worst performers when they're just out there on their own they still look ballistic, but I suppose they are.. just not enough!

I'd recommend the Facebook page MotoGP tech, there's been a lot of interesting close up pics and descriptions of various development areas on the bikes.

No it was more like 'we don't need him as we have lots of good riders' and 'possibly too disruptive', which were both fair comments from Ducati really depending on your point of view.

What teams say in public and private are often different I expect, especially in and around contract negotiations.
