It’s listed at the dealers with power specs but no price yet.

Not seen any launch reviews so I’d guess a few months until you can buy one.

It will be a very capable bike but bloody hell, it looks very dull.

I know it’s not trying to be a super naked but I think the target market will want cornering abs which I see no mention of.

Although it’s hard to see the market for this as it’s neither one thing or the other.

Do they have actual power figures? Everything I've seen said it will have 'at least XXX' or 'over XXX' as opposed to an actual figure.

I had been thinking this would be a good bike to replace my aging Speed Triple, but now losing interest after they've been teasing it for what seems to be about a year with nothing actually any more concrete. My local Honda dealer actually removed all the promotional posts on their facebook/website relating to the 1000 because they were getting enquiries but were getting nothing to feedback.

No - looking again you are right its a vague over whatever.

Seems you aren't alone in losing interest. I wonder if they were teasing it at the dealers in the hope of getting a flurry of reservations and they've had none?

Agreed, why on earth have Honda not kept up with the game on providing an IMU? Even the bloody CB1000 doesn't have one.....

I think they're trying to keep the cost right down - don't bother competing with BMW, KTM etc making a tech-laden bike and just have the Billy basic version that the old school bikers want.

I just think it's a bit odd that they were at all the shows and then nothing, not even a price yet.

Went looking for a pic. I dont really like it much as its too like the cb750 twin.
The CB1000 they had out previously had fantastic styling and looked like an expensive bike.

It doesn't have to be though. I mean st, KTM are even offering a 125 with it - not to mention Suzukis V Strom 1000 that's had it since 2017.

Dobles say it's got 110kw so nearly 150hp?

It reminds me of a cb125f!

I think it's a good looking bike. Looks better than the 750 Hornet (which i have kinda gotten more used to now i've seen a couple in the flesh)

Really like the sound of the new CB1000, no mention of an E-gear version especially now that BMW have announced a rollout of their respective auto shift gearbox.

Maybe a late decision to include an e-clutch option could be the source of the delay.

Yeah I guess it could be, I think an "adventure" style bike using the base platform was also mentioned.
I think it looks OK, a good option to an MT09 if they can keep it under 11k, just a bit odd that it's not arrived yet.
