Watched the first one a little earlier, really rather good. Classic Clarkson and a good 50-odd mins of 'brain-off' amusement!

The Telegraph love it, the Guardian hate it, seems like the perfect endorsement to me, very much looking forward to watching later.

Is it kind of documentary light… or top gear style with a tractor ‘accidentally’ rolling off towards a suspiciously weak looking wooden structure with Clarkson pretending it is spontaneous?

I really don’t understand the point of the guardian getting someone who clearly hates Clarkson to review a Clarkson programme, totally pointless review.

There just serving us up their cookie cutter view of everything. Probably wrote it before viewing. Cars bad. Clarkson Problematic.

Hmm. The Guardian don't rate a show made by an older, white, petrolhead male Tory voter. Gee what an absolute and total shocker... laugh

Being a farmer myself, I’ve been looking forward to this for some time, watched the first 2 episodes so far and it is everything you would expect from Clarkson, genuinely funny with the sheep(working with 600 cattle is a lot easier than half a dozen sheep!) there is far less scripted buffoonery as well, you don’t mess around with machinery running!! And as for the Guardian review she clearly hasn’t a clue, the lambo is roughly the right tractor for the size farm but like has been said he cocked up by buying a euro version, the little fergie is nothing more now than a tractor for hobby farmers with 20 acres!

Really good, now about to watch the 2nd episode.

It's interesting seeing Clarkson away from the other two and in deference to experts in their field (pun intended).

Excellent, I will definitely enjoy it then.

My god she's miserable, who deliberately takes Clarkson seriously?

Someone else at the Guardian likes it
https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2021/jun/...
"If you have an opinion about Jeremy Clarkson – and, as discussed, you do – this isn’t going to change anything about that. But if you like him already, you’ll really like him mucking a farm up. It’s simply, just … really good TV."

didn't know about this until just now.

And as if by a twist of awesome fate, the other half announced to me yesterday that she's gotta go into work Saturday.

Really good fun.

So I actually read the guardinista review, or some of it, wow I know we say the guardians way of going about its business is largely interchangeable with the daily mail these days, but I read the daily mails review of South park when it was first launched and it could have been written by the same individual, such is the depth of determination to trash it combined with catastrophic ignorance of what the show sets out to do.

I mean the first sentence mentioning his contempt for farming... just shouts of the shallowness and ignorance of the reviewer, flippantly tossing out bad words at the thing because "we" don't approve of.

I am a Clarkson fan, so presumed I would enjoy this.

So thought I would just watch one, see how I got on.

It's absolutely bloody fantastic. I haven't enjoyed anything new for ages! Ended up watching all of the available episodes back to back.

I think Kaleb is going to end up an internet sensation, he is brilliant.
