When people fly back after getting shot.
Tended to be more late 80s/90s films that did it, Robocop springs to mind as one severely egregious example with everyone flying all over the place.
If you get shot, even with a shotgun, you don't fly anywhere. Basic physics.
I think Mythbusters even did an episode on it (as well as the famous JFK thing.......)
I'll add on the gun topic (can't see it in the other pages...)

In almost every TV show or film I've seen, the exact same alarm chirp sound is used when someone gets out of a car and visibly 'blips' their car. I watched the first episode of Red Eye last night and it happened.
Yeah I've seen it now, an Astra (I think it was) and a Macan making the alarm blip blip noises. Never happened! The plane bit was funny! In the second episode when it was making all of the beeping noises I just thought of DANGER TO MANIFOLD from Fast & Furious. Yes! Thought I was the only one to hear the Doom noise. There are other Doom noises too, the Imp fireball and the hydraulic lift sound are used a lot (can't think of any examples right now but as soon as I hear one I'll be back). I've heard other game sounds in TV and film too. Door opening sounds from the Hitman : Codename 47 game in some films. The strangest one I heard was the Witch crying sound from the original Left 4 Dead used in an old episode of Coronation Street. Bethany as a baby was crying in another room and it was the same sound clip. It's odd because the episode was from about 2000 or 2001 (re-run on ITV3 recently) and Left 4 Dead was 2008 so it must have already been a library sound clip.

Also people being shot and instantly falling to the ground. Clearly there are circumstances where that could genuinely happen especially if shot in a place that is required to be working to support then standing, say knee.I'll add on the gun topic (can't see it in the other pages...)

Lots of evidence in military conflict and police enforcement situations where someone is shot and they just continue. There is a classic case involving FBI where someone shot in the heart carried on, shot some agents iirc, stole a car and drove off before expiring. Exact details bit hazy but you get the picture.
There is a theory that some people do fall down when shot simply because they've been conditioned that's what happens simply by seeing it so often in TV and films. Personally not sure either way on that.
Dunno man. There was a fella in France few years ago shooting people and they were dropping like strings cut. Maybe depends on gun….

He was a big guy running full pelt straight at the police, their shots knocked him clean off his feet like he had been punched by Mike Tyson.
I did a search on that gun fight. In 1986 Miami Dade FBI.Certainly the review by the bureau led them to recognise that part of the problem was that the stopping power of their service weapons was insufficient against superior firepower, plus the difficulty of reloading revolvers meant a change of sidearm, tactics and body armour.

The bureau article doesn't cover the detail of the battle but Platt was hit in the upper arm with the bullet penetrating his chest and stopping close to his heart. It's believed this bullet severed arteries close to his lung and this was what led to his death. Yet he continued the battle during which two agents were killed. Then he tried to escape using the dead agents' vehicle. His partner Matix was hit by two rounds in neck and head, knocked unconscious but later recovered and also attempted to escape in the vehicle.
There's a very detailed description on wiki (I know sorry)and the whole thing has been covered by various documentaries.

Mythbusters tried a range of weapons on a hanging pig carcass. The most they got was knocking it off it's hanger with a shotgun point blank I seem to remember. The energy gets absorbed I think is the overall point, it doesn't have enough energy to drag you in the opposite direction.
