Mote attempts of delay in the stolen docs case.
In motion to indefinitely put off key CIPA § 5 notice, Nauta’s lawyer notes in footnote that he will now be unavailable, trying another client’s case, from 26 Aug until at least end sept, and maybe into Oct. They are also on holiday in August

trump was mocked yesterday for posts for calling the FDNY as NYFD. Someones gone through and just deleted all those posts from TS now.
i.e.
It was another staged photo op where trump took pizzas
Surprised they tolerate him after his false claims of being at ground zero after 9/11
Good job in holding the boxes the right way up...ohhh

Reading through that it appears that this isn’t a recently installed system of ‘if you didn’t vote last time you have to re-register to vote next time’ but rather one that has been in practice for 50 years or so, so the 1970’s sometime. Whilst it seems abrupt and harsh it does two things rather well; it purges the electoral roll of those who have died or have no interest in voting and keeps those who have an interest in governance on top of either voting or registering.Just a reminder that trumps lawyer Blanche claiming trump was defending himself against Cohen when he broke the gag order. The Vonstzenpants was last december

Here it comes, trump now claims he can't testify because he's gagged.
By his lawyer maybe

So that’s potentially around 100,000 people dropped (although IIRC it is a disproportionately elderly population so many voters might have died since the last enrolment). That said, an odd way of going about business.
And, what with the emphasis on states’ rights, Wyoming has a disproportionate influence in the Senate.

As a side note, I'm enjoying Mooch's insights on TRiP US, an insider (ish) telling it like it is, and witty with it.
Agree well worth half an hour of your time. The TRiP Leading interview was fantastic - said something like 'the only person who hates Trump more than my wife is Melania'
This expert thinks the case will 'hang' because it's so complex, meaning there's a chance that at least one juror will find it too hard to convict.

Interesting way to maintain the roll though, and quite drastic? Don't vote you get removed and have to register again?
I found it surprising.
Apparently you can re-register on the day with whatever ID you would need to bring to vote anyway, with a couple of exceptions. Seems like a non-story, in relation to Trump anyway, just the way things have worked for years.I found it surprising.

Clearly a long established procedure; however, I also find it surprising.I found it surprising.
Seems to target those less inclined to vote on a regular basis which has the potential to benefit the republicans.
Everyone was up in arms here at the prospect of showing photo id, can you imagine the uproar if we adopted a use it or lose it policy!
