Good morneve from a dreary Deep Sarf!

Damp and dismal this morning, as is the weather, despite the lovely Sarah Key-Flookers best efforts to make it sound more promising than it looks.

A packed day today, what with doing housework, washing and taking my sister and brother-in-law to Bawnmuff Airpawt for yet another holiday, and an afternoon of watching more of the Post Office Horizon Omnishambles and Festival of Amnesia.

I don't know how I do it.

Oh well. Stiff upper lip, and carry on rewardless. At least the dizziness has (almost) worn off, which is a relief. Thoughts to those still suffering various ailments, GWS lads, lasses and others.

Laters,...

We have had a new cooker installed. I asked the installers if they always heard the same Red Dwarf joke. It turns out neither of them had.

Smug Mode - IIRC - was when they survived the fireball and Kryton chose to do the ironing.

I am presently busily waiting for the blue and green binmen to arrive.

IOTN, I have no idea who won the mayoral and local council elections yet, but I can guarantee that the majority of the populace are so disillusioned by the pooey choice of candidates that they didn't bother to cast their vote at all, which means that the corrupt officials voted in by a minority will continue their agendas to make life more worserer for the average poor unsuspecting innocent.
Sorry. Rant over. frown

My priority task today will be to restock my compartmented pill box with another weeks' worth of Haribo Starmix, but I am still waiting for a notification from Farmer C that my repeat prescription ( submitted last Friday ) is ready fir collection. I am running rather low on four medications. This helps to prevent my blood pressure from dropping too low. wobble

How are you all today?
It's a grey day here oop norf, but it's not raining.

YET.

In answer to paua's question about Whaley Bridge, they had to build it to enable the whales to pass under the road over the the canal, otherwise they would never be able swim all the way to Bugsworth Basin or Marple Locks. Obviously they're too big to walk along the towpath. rolleyes

That's all for now folks, don't forget the TTFNBQ at 18:30hrs.
Be there or be square.
Abyssinia. wavey

Be careful not to crease your pinny, Bobbers. It’ll need ironing again otherwise.

Then you are doing it wrong, Bobbers. And I hope you didn’t ladder your stockings, either.

Eggshellent.

I have no motivation to see today through, but am also determined to get one or two items cleared form my inbox. I'm like Natalie Imbruglia: a pretty brunette Torn.

Well, I’ve no sympathy; you’ve been warned before about where things might lead what with you being overly liberal with your affections. Anybody might think you really are no better than you ought to be, carrying on like that.

My grandmother would have had the cane carpet beater out by now and no mistake.

Well I got the cleaning done, what normally takes me around an hour and a half took nearly 3 hours, but I did stop several times for a rest!!!
