Lovely... Can only see about 30 yards outside the window here because of the fog...
Sun seems to be burning through out here beside Bennachie so you might be lucky!

Suddenly got an Alexa alert about thunderstorms later today and since then it’s getting darker and more close. Storm flies out in force today too.

A depressingly rainy week here in south Wales. I just booked a flight to Italy though so that’s a positive!

This is interesting for showing south Wales weather stats: http://caerphillyweather.co.uk/wxrainsummary.php?r...

That 9 is pretty close to my Mum's house. She's going to be livid.

Enjoy the heatwave, Carter. I just love the climate round your way, all year. Wish I had the right life circumstances which would allow me to move up there.

Another dreadful day the south east today.

Looking at the forecast the first half of May doesn’t look good.

At this rate it will be a 4 month summer, at best.

As said above, pretty continual rain in the South East. Very grey day.

Shame as earlier this week - for one day at least - it was glorious and I thought we were finally turning a corner

According to the local weather stats website for near me in South Wales if we go use seasons instead of calendar year (eg. December to Nov to winter to end of spring) then this year has already had more rainfall than 12 of the last 19 years and we're only 5 months in.

That was Tuesday. I actually ate my lunch outside and basked in the hint of warmth and sun. It now feels like a long distant memory.

I don't want heat but dry and bright would be nice for the Bank Holiday. I'd like to get out in the garden and tidy it up before our weekend guests arrive, fat chance of that it seems.

Are we just in a new decade long weather cycle? Last decade has been hot and warm (generally), decade prior to that was similar with it raining ALL the time it seemed.

Apologies to those down south. Don't worry, you'll get your own back in August!
