Hints of a proper warm up in 7 days time - weak high over UK, low pressure to the west... drawing up warm air from the south.

I bloody hope so.

Nothing whatsoever to be heard in East Sheen.

Shirley, you lot are making it up.

yes
And, now I'm up in NE Suffolk it's wall-to-wall sunshine.

Finally, the ambient temperature is high enough and the wind still enough to sit outside and relax.

Tomorrow - rain.

Had lunch outside today. In a T-shirt. In the NE. I officially declare that our usual one day summer is here, and after today now over.

Pretty much unbroken sunshine here in the CI, not warm though pesky NW wind reminding us its not anywhere near summer, but did get an ok sunset.

Given some training, you'll be OK as a photographer

TBH I'm happy as it is now, sat in the garden enjoying some rays with a beer watching some sodding pheasants eat the duck food. biggrin

I’m in Ghent with Mrs DS.

Drove to Hull yesterday to get the ferry, lovely day, warm, roof off (bit windy though). Got kegged up on boat. Had dinner - starter, three mains, three puddings.

Over here it’s been dismal - pouring down, fog, spray. Got here, pouring down and cold. Weather had been forecast to be fantastic all weekend. It’s not any more.

It’s gone nice this afternoon though. However I’m not seeing it as Mrs DS and I have had to have a little lie down due to aforementioned getting kegged up on the boat.

Still bloody raining here. Cricket training is off, been waiting for the rain to stop to go to the pub. Going to have to my big boy pants and coat on a deal with it.

As a big fan of Belgium and Gent, I can safely say… it’s DS. hehe

But it’s easy to forget about the weather after two or three Delirium. biggrin

It stopped raining mid afternoon and it’s been lovely since - cracking afternoon sat in a square then later a restaurant and a bar.

I used to live in northern France - Amiens to be precise - and regularly visited Bruges and drove past Ghent a hundred times. This is our first time and it’s a lovely place.
