First time I've seen Ange get properly angry with the team. We said a while ago that they had run out of steam but that performance was p1ss poor. Absolutely zero effort. Badly need the season to end and for those not involved in the Euros to work on conditioning. And also hope that the new recruitment team can have a good first summer and work with Ange to find some decent upgrades.

Takes the edge we needed you to have on off that City game at the moment, kind of in a no mans land in 4th.

Gone from wanting you guys to win your games before City to hoping you lose and risk being caught from the Uniteds behind. Not that a 5 game lose streak is a good thing to go into a game vs City with.

Exactly… they don’t have the motivation now.

Well the players have no excuse for lethargy... they've played far less games than a "normal" season.
Maybe the lack of games and the gaps between is part of the problem?
My opinion (unpopular as it is) is that the players don't understand, or don't trust in, what Ange is asking them to do. Hard to be motivated when you've lost faith in your leader.

Spursneed a striker to compliment Son in the same way that Kane did. Werner is better on the wing, he isn't a striker and he doesn't appear to be able to hit a donkey arse with a bango at the moment. I think he would make a good squad player though.

The mid field needs more steel and we need a couple of extra defenders.

Apart from that.. all good.

Then I sincerely hope they get told to FRO in the summer then.

We didn't seem to have any idea last night. Ran into problems and no idea how to get around them. Lots of possession but no ideas...

Not sure what game you watched then, clearly not this one.

Ragu is an accident waiting to happen. may get better once up to speed with the league.
I have no allegiance in this game but I did watch it

Spurs had more possession, more shots & more corners , Arsenal did have more fouls though.

Teams can often be the better team & lose , I'm guessing you are an Arsenal fan ?
Mantis turns up twice a year, gets absolutely everything wrong makes stuff up then disappears for another 6 months.

I’d saying having an opinion opposite to him means you’re most likely correct.
Apart from Maddison, apart from joe lewis stepping away, etc etc. dunno why i bother anymore!

Woeful game and terrible result for us.

Hojbjerg...what's happened to him lately, he has been awful

Sonny is going on the missing list in games

Vicario needs replacing, not strong or powerful enough.

Maddison great early on, poor recently

Richie is woeful.

van de Ven is generally excellent, so is Romero who seems to have calmed down a bit.

Others are okay, Porro, Udougie, Bentancur, etc but we have to have a good clear out and bring in some more quality for next season.

Hopefully we can keep up the poor run and lose the City game to stop the Woolwich winning the title.

I'll respond to some of those and add my own thoughts.

Hojbjerg has never been great, he's a very mid-level player who has very limited use.

Son has always been a purple patch confidence player. Kane was also a big reason why he was much better previously. He's not a centre forward or very creative. He's quick and can finish but needs someone to feed him the ball which we don't seem to be able to do. Yes he occasionally scored solo wonder goals but they've gotten fewer and fewer these days. He's 31 now and past his prime.

I never got the hype for Vic, he's a good shot stopper but in a lot of other areas he's lacking as a GK. We took to affectionately calling him stumpy as a joke but there is some truth in it as despite the fact he's 6ft 4 or something, he just doesn't fill his area like a very good keeper should.

On Maddison I heard a Leicester fan comment the other day that he can be amazing on his day but can also disappear frequently when things get tough which seems to have a ring of truth to it. If he was consistently top of his game, he'd be spoken of a lot more, the fact he isn't shows his inconsistency.

The others you are spot on but I'd also add that I had high hopes for Bissouma whose turned out to be very disappointing this season. Kulu had 6 good months when he first arrived and has been very average to poor since and Werner is not a top 6 forward.

Got a lot of business to carry out in the summer. If it was up to me, I'd be pretty ruthless in getting rid of some players, our entire front line apart from BJ should be gone for a start. However knowing Spurs, I know we will never do that, we'll hang on to Son because he makes the club money and we'll keep the other average players because it's too expensive to replace them.

Basically what’s he was say is….
Spurs still being in contention for top when the City game comes around. They’d be more motivated to play for the win/taking points off City which Arsenal, should they win all there games, to win the league. As it stands, losing to Chelsea, Spurs top 4 prospects would appear slim.

We don't deserve top four. In fact, it would be an unwanted distraction next season, IMO.
