We used to buy them in the pub for twenty quid…
Were they hanging on a cardboard rectangle that revealed a topless woman as more of them were sold?

Ford P100

I had a few of those back in the day and they were used for the intended purpose , the pick up beds used to dissolve in front of your eyes .
The sierras were a better drive , they had their own race series at one stage if I remember correctly ?
They were silhouette type racers, not real trucks.
This was in the eighties , I’m pretty sure they were basically std p100 as they were woefully slow .

Not for UK consumption, the South American Ford Courier pick up.

1988 sponsored by uniroyal tyres , there’s little to nothing on the web about it .

As a youth in the late 80s I drooled over the Golf GTI pick up officially sold by VW in the UK.

Now they offer this in Mexico

The classic pickups certainly command a good price over the saloon versions. I never know if this is rarity or the ‘you can signwright and use for business’.

I quite like that.
Such praise for an Austin Aggro, just happens to be an Innocenti Austin Allegro Pickup. I'm surprised Innocenti wasted their time on an Aggro of all things.
I love everything about that.

Can we bend the rules?

Not British but in Britain?

I shouldn't imagine they'd be harder to import than a Correct Hand Drive car from Japan.

Vauxhall sold one of the Holden VE "utes" over here but like the Commodore saloon they sold along side it it didn't shift in any serious numbers. American barn door styling with German luxury price tags just didn't appeal for some strange reason.

They've been out of production in Australia for a few years so used prices are stupid. Plenty of bogans (chavs) still willing to sell their right arm for a crappy ute. So a bit like importing a Japanese car that's featured in F&F films.

Stretching the brief quite a bit, but I really like this. The Fiat Toro, based on the underpinnings of the Fiat 500X rather than being a full on pickup. Available in South America, but I can imagine it would do alright here

I'd lay odds on an early 2000's F150 Step-side Extended Cab
