Normally prefer the coupe shape / silhouette but may lean towards the convertible for the 12cilindri
A bit the opposite here, I think the coupe looks much better resolved, the Spider seems a little awkward to me.

I’ve got an F12 and not in a position to buy one new, but …. I think the coupe/spider will be very spec dependant

The coupe suits embracing the modernity of the new design, it’s very spaceship like so, go for the modern look.

The spider would suit embracing some of the classic colours and tan leather interior, picking up on Daytona elements in the design.

One thing for sure, some cars will look beautiful and some will look like a complete dogs breakfast! I prefer the classic look so would be the spider for me

I like the shape but it's hard to tell if it's a pretty car until I see one without that visor. The rear looks much better than the 812.

Key question is (not that I could buy one) does it look like a 500k car? I'm not so sure.

Good god no… the name design and price… damn should have got the F12 last year, going to have to get going now and buy a F12 before these become difficult to prise from their owners.. Ferrari have lost the plot design wise since break up with Pininfarina

I like this more than the F12/812 cars as they finally got rid of the elongated front lights. Not sure about the Coupe rear end, I think I prefer the spider and I think I'd want it painted without the black elements in the rear.

surprised it is not more expensive given where new car prices are heading

Agree on the way that SUV prices are, but what price list do you have, as my dealer is saying with the obvious options without going crazy on exterior Carbon but majority Carbon interior is about £415k on the road… that’s a big increase over 812 which came with a lot more standard stuff..albeit that was 7 years ago.

ferrari recent cars have really taken a negative turn aesthetically. They also seem to be diluting the brand with selling a lot of cars. Sure they know what they are doing but from the outside seem some strange choices.

how difficult is it to order one of these nowadays? Last time I enquired about a new order was a Speciale I think, which I could have just ordered [can't for the life of me remember why I did not do that at the time].

would it help to buy a used GTS off the lot at the dealer and trade it back once the new car arrives? I only bought one used car from the dealer in the past (Scuderia).

I really, really like that. Front screams Daytona and the overall integration of the current design language from Roma/SF90 etc works really well. Not lusted after a modern Ferrari for a minute now (812 aside) so this is a pleasant return to want for me.

I need to see some more angles but I agree the Spider does actually look the better overall for me which is surprising!

I suspect it will be relatively easy to get one at some point. I'm being offered an early car but as others have indicated, simple spec/preconfigured spec and I'm not exactly a high end client of Ferrari although I do own a V12 at present. If it's genuinely the last (barring lightweights/icona etc) then they'll make this car for as long as they have orders I suspect which means anyone that wants one will probably be able to get one eventually.

It won't be difficult in a few months, I imagine. Heck, I'd go in and try now - I know a few customers are slightly polarised by the design and have cancelled orders. I'm sticking in but declining a pre-spec'd or early car and going with an Atelier/TM build for a little later. For context I've not bought any new cars from the dealer, but I have a Pista and an 812 I've acquired through them. These will be readily available and will depreciate I imagine. Unsure re Spiders as I hear they're a smaller % of the production, but coupes certainly.

Detest the name, love the looks. I'll be ordering the Spider.

thanks for your input guys. Might have a chat with the dealer about it and see what they say regarding allocations. Would want a GTS and while I can't really afford it, I do like how it looks and would like to buy one before they are all hybrids.

The Spider might be a bit tougher as they are supposedly making fewer of those, rumor is around 20% of production, but no numbers for allocations in via dealers yet.

Yes, the more I see of this the more I want a F12… typical, found a non red dealer car today but deposit on it this morning, has to be related to the release of this..
